Hey everyone, I'm a huge Rockets fan that came across your board while looking for other Lakers haters.  All the Rockets fans appreciate you guys rooting for us!  We're all sick and tired of the Lakers arrogance and self entitlement.  Anyways, I came across a Ron Artest quote that I thought you all would enjoy  ;)

"Last year, what the Celtics did to them was more about manhood than basketball," Artest said. "They took their manhood. They took it right from under them."

Somehow that quote makes me like Artest.  That is classic.

Anyway, I'm behind the Rockets up until they play the Celtics in the Finals  ;D

It's a great quote.  I'm glad to see Artest trying to get under their skins; hopefully they wilt under the pressure.

Houston has the Lakers by the b_ls because the realized that its a two man team. Gasol is easy, Perk showed how weak he is. Not only is Artest giving Kobe nightmares; but Scola has caused Kobe to turn on Gasol. Once Kobe looses the team, the house of cards comes tumbling down. No ubuntu in LA La land. No ubuntu no big gold ball.

Absolutely you have our support.  GO ROCKETS!

Of course either way, the winner of the series is going to be a team that we won 2 of our last 4 titles from  ;)

You have to love what the Rockets have done this post season.

Good luck and thanks for the quote
Yup

I'm a St Johns fan, so I love Artest. He's always a great interview. It is funny how he can go from genius to nutjob so quickly.

There's only one team in the NBA that I hate, and I've hated them since Magic made that junior sky hook.

Artest's comment assumes that the Lakers had manhood to take away.

Personally, I think Ron Artest is crazy like a fox  8)

I'm totally inspired by what the Rockets have done/are doing this year, and think it's the best possible matchup for the Lakers, even without it's 2 (arguably) best players...

GO ROCKETS!!!

funny Artest moment from game 6

With 2:03 left in the first half, Artest was walking alone at the end of the court near the Lakers’ bench when he made eye contact with Lakers employees Jeanie Buss and Linda Rambis (Phil Jackson’s girlfriend and Kurt Rambis’ wife) and their girlfriends, all of whom regularly whoop it up in party style from their second-row seats.

Hearing some light mockery about his shorts being too tight, Artest looked over and yanked his shorts up as far as they would go – making them ridiculously tight in the crotch. Then Artest said simply to Ms. Buss, Mrs. Rambis and the gals: “You like that.” They cracked up, and he grinned, too.

gotta luv ron  ;D
