What a truly talented man.  To achieve the level of success he did in basketball and music, is quite impressive.  RIP Wayman.

When I first got into b-ball
I remember seeing a pic of W.T.
in that light blue Kings jersey.
I thought "What a cool name!".

Another victim of cancer, sad.
RIP, Mr. Tisdale.

  • Be the posts you wish to see in the world.
Saw a story on him a year ago when he lost his leg - his attitude was sunny and optimistic still.  Shame he couldn't fully recover.  Cancer sucks.

RIP Jazzman.

Appreciate the mention. This is a very, very sad day in this state because a great ballplayer and a better man has been lost. Our Lord got himself a good one today.

If you met Wayman, you never forgot the smile and the inate way he had to make everyone feel like his friend. What a marvelous man he was.

He had a sweet jumpshot and was a tremendously entertaining player for the Billy Tubbs/Mookie Blaylock era Sooners, and translated that into a solid NBA career as an undersized PF. Not to mention his music career. RIP, Wayman.
