Ray is not getting that many good looks at the basket. He's getting a few but he cant seem to get free. WE cant fault him that much,he's not shooting good, but his team isnt helping matters much. Also you have to give orlando credit, they are playing good solid d in this series.

The one thing I do have a problem with is there seemed to be no adjustment made to orlando's d schem today. THey doubled paul everytime and the offense just stood around waiting for something to happen. That needs to me remedied by doc imo next game. I really didnt think we were going to win tonight anyway, but I was surprised that it was that close of a game. I thought they would have came out flat and with no energy like a replay of game 1.

Dont be too worried, I expect a blowout on suday by at least 15.
Back to wanting Joe fired.

What in the world makes you think this game will be a blowout?  It's a game 7, Orlando has showed they can win or at least make it close on our court.  No way in hell this is a blowout sunday.

I love Ray, but this series has been tough to watch.

  • Rondo = Good
If Ray Allen actually hit some shots, we would have won tonight.  Ray was just plain awful tonight, no excuses.  He should have been benched halfway into the fourth quarter, he was playing terrible and couldn't hit the broad side of a barn.

there was a play off the curl with about 3 minutes to go, where I thought Ray was knocking it down, and then it clanked, and then I looked dumb b/c my fist was in the air - it was tragic

This is what you get with old legs. You can't hide from father time forever. He still is a very productive player against bad teams and weak defenses, but Orlando and Cleveland play to good of perimeter defense. Having said that, hopefully having a few days off before game 7 give him enough rest to be semi productive in game 7.

Ray had a bad game.

He wasn't the only one, by far - Glen Davis was terrible, and he stagnated the basketball on the offensive end most of the night.

There are others.

Doesn't do any good right now to overreact. Our deck is thin. It's been thin all season. We have at least one more game to play the cards we're dealt.

The keys Sunday are to take care of the basketball and, for God's sake, move it. I can't for the life of me understand how professionals can spend a half moving the ball and scoring, and then devolve into the mess we saw in the second half.

Pretty simple. We either do the things that have been proven to work - or we lose.

the key is defense...and getting multiple stops...do that and the celtics will be able to run more and play better on offense

We played enough defense tonight to win.

It was on the other end of the floor where this game was lost.

It is not only his shooting but the stupid turnovers are driving me crazy.  He came down one time and jumped and fired a bullet to Rondo that was high and went out of bounds.  I have never seen a player make as many turnovers based on his insistence of jumping before he makes every pass.

Ray, PP, and BBD were ALL killing us. Just because PP hit those three shots doesn't erase a night of horrid play, getting lit up by Pietrus once again. He clanks two free throws as he often does when it is crunch time. He gets just as much if not more blame because Ray played great defense all night at least and wasn't given almost any room to shoot. PP is creating his own and missing them.

BBD had 2 rebounds in 25 minutes... 2!!! Please BBD. Your PG had 16. He should get fined every time he commits a stupid moving screen. How can he be that stupid. He does it every time.

Perk needs more looks in the low post. He has done a great job getting them off over Howard. It will get Howard in foul trouble. We should give the guy another 7-10 per game.

Scal needs more looks. He is shooting the ball very well even though tonight he missed a couple threes he could have had. They are leaving him to double and he should be knocking those down.

House needs a DOUBLE screen run for him so he can get open more. The man is on fire and we aren't taking advantage of it.

Poor performance though by 3 of our 5 starters. What did we expect?!
