  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
To bring you up to speed if you didn't know:

Dirk started dating this 37 year old woman Cristal Taylor (who spells Crystal like that?). It wasn't long before she firmly entrenched herself in his life, putting herself between him and his teammates, him and his teammates families, and his team its self. The mavs were so concerned they began a private investigation into her.

It was found (dunno if by the mavs or not) that she stole some of Dirk's credit cards, and also some of Antoine Wright's jewelry.

Well, she was arrested at Dirk's home. After that it was found she'd used multiple aliases, complete identities, over the last decade to defraud all kinds of people, from dentists offices to banks. 100's of thousands of dollars.

Then, today it was revealed that she did the same thing to Tony Banks in 1997!

Quote from: SI.com
Dallas Mavericks star Dirk Nowitzki was not the first professional athlete to have a tumultuous and bizarre relationship with Cristal Taylor. Former NFL quarterback Tony Banks on Wednesday told The Dallas Morning News that Taylor is the same woman who tried to turn his life and career upside down in 1997. When their brief relationship fizzled, Banks said, Taylor began making harassing phone calls to him, his agent and even his St. Louis Rams head coach, Dick Vermeil. Alarmed that Taylor was "trying to run my name through the mud," Banks notified team security, which learned Taylor had a criminal history and had used multiple identities.

All of this and she supposedly has a child on the way she is claiming is Dirk's.

I smell a lifetime movie.

You should start a contest...like "What is Redz thinking at 3:30pm?"...then give out TP's as a form of the game 'hot or cold'

EDIT: and now back to dirk nowitzki...weird, right?

Yep, I totally see why Dirk allowed her to take over his life.

Yes it is weird.  Being rich and famous attracts all sorts of unsavory characters.

Thankfully I don't have these problems.

Grot....Dirk should be able to pull a better looking woman than that with all of his money.

I thought Cristal Taylor was the chick in a picture someone posted...It was a pic of Dirk & some woman hanging out by a pool area in a backyard it seemed.  That one didn't look bad at all.

Please avoid words like "chick".  But no, the picture above (the first one) is the Cristal Taylor that Dirk was dating.

What the blazes does Dirk want with that old bag?  Shouldn't he be dating some 5'11 blonde, blue eyed German model or something?

Seriously... what the blazes.

Is there a German supermodel who wouldn't date Dirk?  What's going on here?  For the heck of it I took the liberty of googling "German Supermodel" for Dirk (a tough job but somebody has to do it).  Here's a nice prospect I've never heard of:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Julia_Stegner

Julia Stegner... she'll do, right?  A 6 foot blonde from Munich.

According to her wiki, "In high school she discovered a passion for playing basketball, and eventually she joined a club team in Munich. Being 180 cm tall, she was naturally fit for the sport; her classmates even called her "Bean Bar" because of her towering height."

Perfect.  Come on Dirk.  Get your crap together man.  It took me 10 seconds to find you a girlfriend.
