1. Howard's Offence still is on an average level(if he can't overpower his defender)
2. Perk has him read whenever he tuches the ball
what doesn't kill you makes you stronger

Now, I have no real love for Howard since I think he is one of the dirtiest players in the league, but everyone is focusing on what he said about his shots, when I thought he made a far more interesting comment in the same press conference.

I had never seen this before, and especially not form a young kid like him, but didn't anyone catch that he was saying that he should have STAYED on the bench in favor of the guys who were in and playing well?

That statement got lost in what he said about his touches, but he didn't even think he should have been in the game at the end.  Maybe I heard it wrong, but he told SVG that you need to trust everyone on the team, not just the "stars".  I was actually a little proud of him when he said that and am very surprised that more people aren't commenting on THAT part of what he said.

He knows Perk has owned him all year.  Nobody guards him as well as Perk in the entire NBA.  And it seemed to me that he knew that and was actually saying that it would have been better to keep him on the bench.

Just wanted to add that in there.

thats not what he said, he was talking about battie and johnson being subbed for for with reddick and rafer, both of whom went ice cold and failed to score from the field.

battie and johnson were scoring at will on us while steph kept us in it, once they went to the bench the offense died.
