I have absolutely no clue how the Celtics pulled this off. I still can't believe that they won this game.
I can't remember a time that I was so frustrated for 44 minutes, only to have my team win.

This game proves to me that the Celtics can win against anyone. They are the the team in the league that simply hates losing the most.

Did someone not watch the end of the game? :)

I obviously did... it just seems like it didn't even happen. They played so bad and I got sooo mad at the refs for the first 44 min that I can't believe that they pulled out the win.

Will.  It's all about will.

It's one of the more wonderful things about sports.

At some point talent evens things off, but an iron will to win can make up for a lot.

Its just crazy how they can go from letting in 8/10 shots the first half of the quarter, then not allowing a single point for the rest of the quarter (except for those few FTs)

They just buckled down. They knew what they had to do and did it. They're truly Champions.

Man, the C's have practiced getting in a hole and pulling it out all season.  We didn't dominate games like last year -- the regular season had plenty of exciting games just like this.  Except the games were less important.

With the injuries our team has, every win in the playoffs is a treat and a blessing.  The fact that we are up 3-1 and one game away from the ECFs is absolutely amazing.  Our guys just don't quit.  They may not start fast  :-X but hey, they don't quit!

We'd have the top seed and be in round two if we'd kept Will.

Please don;t get me all emotional again, I'm just calming down from the game  ;D

I remember the time we were down 8 against Milwaukee in Game 7 of the 2nd round of the 1987 playoffs with under 6 to play. Then Jerry Sichting hit 3 big baskets down the stretch along with McHale Bird and Parish and we won by 6. Then there was that time we were down 79-67 after 3 qtrs against the Buffalo Braves in Game 1 of the opening round of the playoffs and Cowens scored 18 points in the 4th qtr and the Celtics won going away 107-97. Then there was that 1981 ECF against Philadelphia where we were down 3 games to 1 and were within 2 minutes of being put away in game 5. Then Bird scored 10 points in the last 2 minutes to keep Boston alive. And in Game 6 we were down 18 late in the third qtr and went on the rampage to come back and win by 2. Finally in Game 7 Boston pitcheda9shutout in the last five minutes of the game and we won 92-91 in the greatest series ever played. And in Game 5 of the 1987 EC Finals - Isiah threw the dumb inbounds pass where THERE'S A STEAL BY BIRD, UNDERNEATH TO DJ, LAYS IT UP AND IN, a play that my children and grandchildren will recite time and again.

Man, I have forgotten more come backs then you'll ever know. I just keep coming back to torture non-Boston fans time and again.
