Am I imagining things, but haven't the Celts been contantly stepping on the line on 3-point attempts as of late?

Yes, they do this on purpose. The line gives them super powers.  8)

Ah... that certainly explains why we've been missing when they don't step on it.

between that (Ray's 3 that wasn't really) and the rim call, the Magic are gonna have some fodder for the papers tomorrow, if they choose to go that way

about the rim call - the ball just died. i don't see how that could possibly physically happen unless it at least touched the rim. the net doesn't cause a ball to come straight down like that, well unless its metal. you couldn't really tell from the replays, which i guess they have a valid complaint against, but again, i have no clue how a ball can do that without touching the rim.

You'd be surprised at how something as light and flexible as netting could change the trajectory of an object, even something as big as a basketball.  The play is way to close to arise at a definitive answer.  Unless NASA does some analysis, we'll never know.

What about Dwight's travel that led to a layup? What about some of the early BS foul calls on Perk, that benched him and allowed the Magics to take early control of the game?

Sure, if only their fans could read...

Seriously, though, I shouted at the tv when Eddie was standing on the line when he was wide open on that three. Scared my poor dog, who was wondering what she'd done. Haven't seen her since...

I would've enjoyed the way this game was called if somebody was hitting shots for us. Until the fourth it was such a frustrating night, but it never seemed like the refs to me. Orlando got some luck and the C's got some luck, and all in all the refs didn't blow the whistle too much at least, or rob Paul all night long while he gets beat on, or anything like that.

If the Magic are focused on the calls after tonight, we win in six.

C's were dead and playing it out before Marbury broke through. That lit up the crowd and the team and we were still in striking distance. Then, was it the defense or did the Magic choke? Both I guess. Their last field goal came at 5:39!!!! Then they missed 8 straight wow. Alston, Turkoglu, and Lewis all missed jumpers. So they really should not be pointing to a call here and there that went the C's way.
