No.

KG comes back when he can play without risk of hurting the rest of his career.

Actually if Scal can't go I wouldn't be against trying TA on Lewis in spot minutes.  I know I know it scares the heck out of people putting TA on the court but if the good TA shows up maybe it could work.  Lewis isn't a true post player and likes to stay on the perimeter for the most part and TA should be able to stay with him.

Lewis was posting Peirce and Scali pretty well.  6+ inchs on TA really hurts.

Bill Walker anyone? Obviously not the ideal option but I'm sure he could cut 'shard's perimeter play a bit.

While I agree with you that now is not the time, I don't know why there would be an assumption that playing would jeopardize the rest of his career.  This is just another assumption some of us are making because we really don't have a clue what is going on with him.  Just sayin'.

I  agree, I think it's worth a shot.  I am not as TA-aversive as others -- especially when he is on the court with starters and his role on offense is more clear (none).  I think Lewis' size will be a huge adbvantage -- he'll shoot right over Tony -- but TA might be able to harrass him a bit with his speed and aggressiveness.

Heck I just think we are going to see a lot of different combinations tonight and hopefully someone out of TA, MM or Billy the Kid is ready.

I am holding out hope that MM can do it.  We have really been hurt when Lewis can just post and grind then turn and pop.  I am hoping MM can take that away and hopefully be able to close out on jumpers and maybe get the rotation down and maybe get a rebound and maybe ...... you get the idea.

Again I will say that people claim that Walker would have been a lottery pick if not for his knee troubles. Well his knees seem fine. If the rookie Courtney Lee can start for Orlando, I think Walker should be able to give some minutes for the C's. But I will say the better solution would have been to give Walker more run during the regular season in order to save Pierce's legs and then now we wouldn't have to worry about whether if called upon he will look like a deer in headlights. But with only Mikki Moore, who sucks btw, desperatimes, desperate measures... you know the drill. Play young Sky Walker

i think this epitomizes how ridiculous our injury situation has become...scal possibly not playing might determine whether we win a game or not. unbelievable. he wasn't even active during our run last year. i honestly can't believe we're in the 2nd round, let alone tied, given the disarray of our frontcourt.

Sadly these sorts of years do happen. I just hope KG is back 100% next year. Its amazing how different our team looks with him in there watching last year's playoff games.

nvm
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.
