The Celtics' frontcourt could be tested by the Orlando Magic in tonight's Game 5 of their second-round playoff series. Forward Brian Scalabrine missed the Celtics' morning shootaround because of illness, but could be available for the game.

Link.

Obviously, I'm hoping Scal is okay to play, because I really don't want to see Mikki getting playing time.

You are just afraid Mikki will bring his A game and go for 20-10.  Oh wait, they only allow five fouls . . .   ::)

What illness wouldn't Scal play though?

I hope Scal is OK. Hopefully he'll play tonight.

But if he doesn't... it's time for the Almighty Mikki "Die Hard" Moore to step up.

Who knows... in game 7 against Chicago everybody was worried when Mikki stepped on the court but he played very well. Hopefully he'll repeat tonight if Scal can't play. :)

what frontcourt is he talking about? we no longer have one. KG and Powe are out, Perk is hurt, Scal is sick, and Mikki is a woman in a man's body, I guess that leaves Davis.

That's a man's body?

LOL! TP for that one. I think I would rather seriously have Tony Allen guard Lewis if Scal is out tonight. He's the only player that may be able to stay with him other than Pierce, and we don't need Pierce getting in foul trouble again.

I know we've talked about this before, but what the heck is meant by "flu-like symptoms"?  Is it the flu?  Is it like the flu?

I say if Scal has the flu, H1N1 or whatever that he saves it in a jar for whenever we advance to face LeCrab.  We'll see how "the queen" does with a little 103 fever, body aches, chills, diahrea, vomiting and Paul Pierce in his grill.

That's cold.  In fact, I think you need to be game planning with Doc and Thibs.   ;D

Oh gosh, we're in deep yogurt if Scal can't play... especially with Perk's shoulder flaring up again.

Deep yogurt, I like that phrasing...albeit not the possibility of that reality.

SSR, don't know how recently it happened, but congrats on the 100th TP before I forget.
