just a really sad story, jose gets off with nothing for injuring two young players and slowing thier careers in one case, ending it in another.

Yeah, it's too bad. I think 4.8 million is a bit much but I hope he wins the civil suit for a good amount and is able to get his medical expenses taken care of.
Offerman should went to prison for attacking with a bat... what a lunatic.
