GLOBE:

Boston center Kendrick Perkins was called for a flagrant foul Friday after his elbow hit Orlando's Mickael Pietrus in the chin in the fourth quarter of the Celtics' Game 3 loss to the Magic. An NBA spokesman said today, however, that the ruling stands and he will not be suspended.

i read in the orlando paper that peitrus said there was nothing dirty about the play..it was physical and he turned the corner and ran right into...

If it's true... my hat off for Pietrus!!

The thing is that, if it's official, we have a Game 4 tomorrow and it's gonna be more like a Game 7 for both teams!! Without Perk, it would be a blowout...

And he did finish...

I'm still surprised people actually thought he would get suspended.

The league was really in a tough situation to suspend Perk after they let Kobe get away with it.  Plus it wasn't like Perk intentionally elbowed Pietrus. It was just in the process of action and he got hit. Good ruling imo.
