I just think the guys are tired. And I don't necessarily mean physically tired. I think they're emotionally drained. They played their hearts out to win without KG, and they haven't had much of a break. They won 62 games this year, but the games were a lot closer. I just don't think they have much left in the tank.
They certainly need better ball movement on offense. Doc has improved so much in designing a game winning play, but the offense is stagnant too much of the time. I think these guys are being as competitive as they are based on the talent level and their heart.
Not that I'm writing them off just yet, but I'd like to see a new coach for the offense, resign BBD, trade TA, pick up a player or two and be healthy next year. I'd also like to see Doc be willing to let bench players play and take their lumps during the season. You cannot expect guys to sit on the bench for days or weeks and then throw them in for a few minutes and expect them to play at a high level. Not the younger guys at least.
