I have to agree Ray deserves being called out. His inconsistency is costing us big time.  :(

Anyone possibly seeing a correlation with the rest of the team struggling when Rondo doesn't play the right way? If Ray were taking better shots he wouldn't have those numbers. If Rondo were playing the right way he would be getting better shots. Same with PP, BBD, etc. It all starts with the play of the inconsistent Rondo.

I would also have to give a bit of credit to the Magic and their extra effort on Ray. They are keeping up on him and making others beat them.

Yeah, it begins with the looks the team is giving to Ray and so far they haven't been good.

Gotta give credit to Redick too, we thought he was going to get embarrassed but he defends pretty well on Ray.

I think part of the problem is that Doc doesn't give Ray the same offensive treatment as Paul.  If Paul misses a few shots, they still run plays for him.  It seems that Ray must hit a couple open jumpers before Doc will start running plays for him.  But if he misses a couple early on, it seems Doc goes away from him and he never gets in a rhythm.  And Doc needs to do more than just run screens for him.  That's great, but Ray is fully capable of playing the 1 on 1 game that Pierce plays.

Overall, if Doc gets him involved more, he should produce more.  I just think it's tough for a jump shooter like him to get going when he goes 5-10 minutes at a time without taking a shot.

We called out Rondo and Pierce in the playoffs, Now C's fans are calling out Ray Allen. Although Rondo & Pierce haven't been great, but we are seeing progress. Time to step up NBA greatest shooter. Shooting 33% over the last 4 games isn't going to cut it. JJ Redick & C. Lee should not outplay you Mr. $17.4 million.
Time to step up old man

I think your disrespect towards Ray Allen is pathetic! If you want to comment on culprits then please vent your anger at the whole team effort! We aint going to beat the Magic unless with a team effort and that wasnt happening tonight. Game 2 was team effort and something like that is needed, not picking on certain individuals because they got more money paid. Shouldnt we be picking on KG for being injured then?!?!

PS:  I am over 34 and not old.

the last loss was a team loss. orlando played well, boston stunk it up, especially on defense.

orlando shot something like 59%. point the finger at the entire team for not defending well.

as an example look at rondo. too many times his guy would run by him, draw perkins out, then pass to another orlando player for an easy 3 pointer.

but back on point and allen's play in the playoffs. he has been very inconsistent with his shooting. in chicago for the opeing 6 quarters he was awful, terrible. then he shoots like a man posssessed for 1/2 of a game.

same so far. he has swung from extended cold stretches to torrid hot shooting. but the latter is not happening often enough. i am worrying that ray allen may be starting to lose his shooting touch.

i am too busy on mom's day to look up the stats, but if we looked his shooting percentages broken down by game, or half, i believe it would look schizophrenic.

to win this series the celtics need to play defense and rebound orlando misses as best as they can. THEN their offense will benefit and they will score easily.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.
