Rondo is taking the most shots on the Celtics.

Very disappointing effort. I find it very hard to believe they will pull out a win Sunday.

  • Rondo = Good
Yeah, very discouraging loss in a lot of ways.

I'm just hoping maybe this will be like the Atlanta / Heat series where every game was not close / a blowout, and hopefully we'll come out ahead in the W category.

  • There can only be one.
Marbury needs to step it up and do what Rondo didn't. MAKE SOME SHOTS.

Marbury has looked just as scared as Rondo to look for his own offense.

Interesting stat in tonight's game, too: Rondo has the WORST FT % of any PG in the league. I knew he was toward the bottom, but figured there had to be a guy off the bench somewhere that shot worse. Apparently not.  Being such a bad free throw shooter makes him hesitant to look for his own offense.

Yes, he did look a little scared, but I feel like he didn't get enough minutes in this game.

Seriously people.

Marbury was off for a year. A YEAR.

And he has spent basically his entire career as a starter. If you expected him to come off a 1 year time off, have him come off the bench for 5-10 minutes and light it up for 20 points, then you seriously need to reconsider your mentality.

There are some players that can come off the bench and hit shot after shot right away. We call those shooters 3 point sharp shooters. Not point guards.
