Can someone explain this to me?

Our team needs rest like no other...and yet...we our playing every other day.

The Nuggets/Mavs series...they haven't played since Tuesday and get 4 days off.

How is this possible?  Like I'm not being sarcastic or trying to complain.  I just honestly don't understand how that works out.

If anything, WE should get the 4 days off.

The Nuggets and Mavs series started before any other series, because they took care of business in the first round before everyone else did.  If the C's had taken care of things in game 6, they would have had nice rest.

Probably a quirk in the schedule. Considering the NBA has actually listened to the fans, and made an honest effort to speed up the postseason the past couple years, it's not that surprising.  Dallas and Denver happened to finish their first round match-ups early, and get a stretched out schedule to allow the league to catch up so the series winner isn't waiting 2 weeks for the other conference semifinal to end.
