I'm confident as long as Perk can stay out of foul trouble, Rondo brings at least his B game, and Ray finds his stroke again.  Paul doesn't need to be the Truth just play solid.  If those things happen I'm feeling pretty good about the whole series.

I'm feeling freaking GREAT!  Everytime my team steps on the court is an opportunity for another W baby!

Sheer hunch here...

Howard gets in foul trouble and is pretty much useless...Celts win going away

Hope that happens
Yup

I feel look a schoolboy on his way to the principal's office knowing I'm a darned good student and only did something wrong once, and no one knew it was me, b/c I flushed the evidence, so I'm probably gonna get an award or a kudos of some sort or be offered a position as hall monitor, or be asked to write a feature story in the school newspaper on the effects of kidney beans on the Galapagos Islands, but deep down inside me, I know once in 3rd grade I wrote a quasi swear word on Suzi Margoles's locker in Highlighter and it wouldn't come out and maybe after all these years they've figured it out, but again it could just be that my dad sent in my gym shorts b/c I forgot them today, or maybe the principal needs help defragmenting his hard drive, because I am handy with computers after all, or maybe he wants change for a five, because he knows about the paper route I have that I run before school and I always always always have change on me, small bills only of course.

yeah I feel pretty good about this one.

Make good money on your route?

yes, except for Mrs. Schnickerton once tried to pay me with fig newtons...of all things fig newtons?  I politely declined and then I had to help her get her dentures out, apparantly the poligrip hardened harder than its supposed to - today I laugh about it, but fig newtons, can you believe it...

The way that happens is if Pierce and particularly Rondo go hard to the basket in the first quarter.  They need to force Howard to commit, then go into his body for the contact.  If they do that, they could have him on the bench in the first five minutes of the game.

Because Rondo was so terrible in the first half, which led them to fall so far behind, and so good in second half, leading them back into the game,

Sorry but Rondo was terrible in the second half too.  He didn't shoot any better in the second and he had 6 t/o's.  That ain't anywhere close to "good" in my book.

As for how I feel, I feel pretty confident.  We won't shoot as bad and they won't shoot as good.  I think those are both pretty much a given.  Force some turnovers, rebound some of those long 3pt misses, and this game should be ours.

Okay, he didn't shoot so well; but he's definitely the reason the C's got so close.
he HIMSELF, all by HIMSELF drew 12 foul shots in the 3rd quarter alone, making 10 of them.
He drove, and he was playing with a fire.
His shots weren't going down, but he was playing his butt off
Practice? Whatchu talkin about practice?

No jinxes, no chest-thumping.

We win, no doubt.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

And Pierce by himself drew 8 foul shots along with hitting 4 of his 10 shots, compared to 1 of 5 for Rondo, and had 2 steals to Rondo's 3 and zero turnovers compared to Rondo's 6.  And that's just Paul.  Baby had a couple big shots and Scal played a big part in our comeback as well.  To say it was Rondo and all Rondo is ignoring all of that. Rondo did almost as much bad as he did good in the second half.

Forgot to mention Perk, who was also instrumental and who had some really nice pick and rolls between he and PP in the second half down the stretch.

I feel good...

I see the Celtics winning by double digits tonight by taking it right to the Magic, getting to the free throw line and by taking better care of the basketball...  :)

Good call Jsaad! (as I'm padding myself on the shoulder)
