Going in to the series, I felt like the Celtics would go 1-1 in Boston and 1-1 in Orlando.  I think they will ultimately win the series, but there will be at least one game that they get blown out because of foul trouble.

So I guess if I believe in this prediction, then they should win tonight.

I feel good...

I see the Celtics winning by double digits tonight by taking it right to the Magic, getting to the free throw line and by taking better care of the basketball...  :)

I think tonight Starbury puts it together for a full performance... He's been making enough steps in the right direction that I think tonight's the night for him. I could see 8-10 points and 5 assists for him, plus hopefully some second half minutes. I don't think he's THE key, but he's certainly a nice piece of the puzzle to be effective. I have a good feeling about him tonight.
"Let me call him," Floyd said.

The man shook his head. "O.J. doesn't give out his cell," he said. "He'll call you."

If we lose, the season is over.

I think we technically have to play at least 2 more games first.

I feel fine about tonight's game, once we pulled our heads out of our backsides we were clearly the better team.  If we can come with that kind of effort tonight we can win going away.

Yeah, last game was tough.  Because Rondo was so terrible in the first half, which led them to fall so far behind, and so good in second half, leading them back into the game, it really made it tough for them to get Marbury back in there.

Hopefully this will be a more balanced game, and Marbury will be able to get Rondo some rest in both halves, with them not needing anything more from him than keeping them even.

something else that may also help us is that the refs may actually hate van gundy more than Doc

For some reason, I wasn't even mad that we lost Game 1.

I feel that we played a bad game rather than the Magic out playing us.
I think we see a bounce back from Sugar Ray...
I see another solid production day from the Bench
I feel that Rondo is in a funk right now, so I hope Marbury is feeling good again...

As long as we make our adjustments and don't dig ourselves up in a big hole then we win this game.

Don't worry, we will win tonight's game to tie the series.  A few points (in reverse order of importance)

3. Doc may still be too thick to change the starting lineup, but his rotations will even out so that he's playing Scal with the starters and backing Perk up with Baby, a very good sign that became so glaringly obvious after Game 1 that maybe even Doc saw it.

2. Rondo and Ray wont have a game like that again.  They are just better than they showed us last game, we all know that here. Those guys suck every now and then, but not often in consecutive games...

1. Most important, they may have the best player on their team, but we have Paul Pierce on our team.  If I had to choose one of those two as a teammate in a game for my life, it'd be Paul because he's proven he's mentally tougher than almost anyone in the league.  Paul is a gamer, he's a cold blooded offensive player, and his heart is always in it (even when he's playing poorly).  I don't care if he's tired, this team will only advance if he steps up.  It happened last year during the second round, and it will happen again this year.  He's the guy we've put all our marbles on, this is his chance to add a page to his Celtic lore, he knows it.  He will have a monumental game tonight, or he's simply not the player I have always believed he is.   If that's the case, hell we might as well just go fishing...

That is easily one of my top 10 favorite film moments.

Thanks for all these answers, I'm feeling a little more optimistic about game 2. I think our players won't disappoint us anyway.

I would imagine we will shoot better than 38%. So I am pretty confident.

Problem is, Doc won't play him in the second half even if he magically puts up a triple triple in the first halF (no I do not mean triple double)

We are going to win. Ray will score +25, Rondo will be huge again and Perk will push Howard to the limit.
