What the heck. Alston should be suspended, now.

It was a love tap, that wasn't a swing.

has absolutly no bearing on the rule for suspensions, according to the front office.

It was a delibrate hit to the head of a player no involved in a basketball play. the rule for flagrant 2's is clear.

It should be one game since it wasen't called a flagrant 2 in the course of this game.

I agree.

one thing i really like: how Scal works to quickly inbound the ball to Rondo.  It just gives the Cs an extra half second or so to get moving down the floor and take the other team by surprise -- it is indicative of hustle play, and I love it.

That still deserves a suspension. I hate that fool.  >:( >:(

I can't stand him either and yes, under the current rules he should be suspended.  As was said by someone else, he didn't get his money's worth with that one did he?
Like I said in an earlier post, I think that since it wasnt noticed by the officials and Alston got NO punishment whatsoever in this game, it greatly increases the chances of a suspension.

It shouldnt matter if it was the most womanly slap youve ever seen, it still instigates a fight.  I do think though that if Alston got ejected from this game, all he'd get is a fine.

You don't slap a man. Ok. I mean, even when slapping was fashionable, ya know, they did it in Paris, some guy would come up: WHAP PAP, 'I challenge you to a duel.' They would have a gunfight after that -- somebody had to go!

  • Rondo = Good
somewhat more akin to one of the worse ejections league history:

I hear what you are saying about Scal, but this game isn't over yet.  Magic can heat up from 3 pt land in a hurry...

Noted, from now on all deliberate fouls shall involve kicks to the stomach, no rules against that.
