well it does look like orlando is just content getting a split....but if boston can continue then to me they have won the last 5 and a half quarters...orlando hasnt looked good since the start of the third in game one....boston needs a well rested PP to drop about 20 in the half

I think Van Gundy realizes it.

no doubt.

you know one funny thing ive noticed? scal is a master of faking guys into thinking he fell for the pump fake.

He's done this to lewis about 3 times now. Lewis up fakes, scal pretends to go out for it, but as lewis leans in for the contact he backs off.

Its screwing with lewis drives something fierce.

A fake on a fake - I love it...I'll watch for it this half.

Of course with the exception of one time last night, Scal has no idea what the hell to do once he has had a guy buy  the fake!

Scal's been awesome.  I really thought he was done for the year for sure.  Nice work by Scals making it back and playing with the titanium reinforced headband
Yup

If anyone had ever told me that Steph would be losing the Starbury-Redick matchup...

Marbury's defence for most of the time is beyond horrible. He's always a step late.

Amare Stoudemire
Rashard Lewis

Anyone else?

I have a feeling O-town has already quit on this one, put a little pressure on 'em in the first 5 minutes of the the third quarter, and trust me they'll wilt.

Funny stat:  Scal leads the team in minutes tonight.  The guy brings a lot to this team.

I hope Doc starts him from now on - Baby was out after 2 minutes so hopefully he's seen this is working.

I think that what the announcers said, that Doc said he was going to yank Big Baby after one foul, actually might work best because Glen Davis is a bit emotional and keeping him as the nominal starter might be the best way to manage him psychologically.  Big Baby thinks he's a legit NBA starting power forward and not just a role player who stepped up his game to fill in during an injury.  Being demoted to the bench for the series is going to screw with his head more than necessary.

A couple of those Redick shots came against Ray who was also playing way off him. No excuses for either of them as Redick can't ake either off the dribble and all they have to do to stop his shot is be within 6 feet of the guy at all times.
