Yeah, thank God for the Rockets.

Here's a couple ways to see it:

At least the Rockets might beat the Lakers.

or

Maybe both teams that lost the first game of the series tonight will go onto win.

Either way I'd be happy (though obviously more happy with the C's winning).

I would be so stoked if the Rockets beat the Lakers..then it'd be pretty much guaranteed that a team I like goes to the Finals from the West at least.

Hate to burst your bubble, but the rockets aren't winning that series, so many easy shots LA usually makes, just off.  You can tell the layoff got them.  They played as bad as they possibly could and still nearly won that game.

Very much like Shuttlesworth in the game vs orlando, just didn't look like he was ready to play, some unforced turnovers and missing quality looks, don't expect to see that happen again.  But as bad as they played and as big as they got down, they could have still easily won it with a shot here or there at the end.

I'm aware they most likely aren't winning it - it's just nice to imagine them doing so.

Who knows, maybe Battier will continue shutting down Kobe and forcing him to take a ridiculous amount of shots?

At the least, it'd be great if the Rockets forced the Lakers to 7 while the Nuggets own the Mavs in 4 or 5 so the Nuggets are in good rested shape to kick it up a notch against the Lakers.  I'd be just as happy to see the Nuggets go to the Finals.
