36-ish seconds left...Why on earth would Pierce dribble the ball out past the 24 second mark?  They were only down by four...they needed a quick shot, some defense and would get the final shot to tie/win the game.  This was a prime 2-for-1 opportunity.  What is so difficult to understand about that?

There were several instances last series that also had me wondering what they were thinking.  When they were up by 3 and didn't foul, allowing Gordon to tie it with a three I almost lost my mind.

Where is this terrible decision-making coming from?

Why did Marbury never set foot on the court after the 2nd quarter? Doc drove the team into the ground with the replacements. He's so stupid sometimes with subbing methods.

  • Doc could learn a thing or two from Norman Dale
I couldn't believe it, either.  They wasted something like 18 seconds on that possession.  Even though it should have been a foul, it was still a ridiculously wasted possession.

Lots of poor decisions tonight, starting with our point guard.

You mean like Baby fouling in the backcourt to prevent a fast break, even though he gets in foul trouble every game or Rondo playing his little "i dare you to go for the rolling ball" move?

Because we were on like a 24-4 run. Why mess with that?

It died out by the last minute of the 3rd our run, we couldn't break 16 down or 14 down. Rondo gave us trash in the 4th, if we went with Marbury House PP/RA Scal Perk the outcome would be quite different. I don't understand why he took out our main lead keeper in Marbury, I really don't. I'm no coach, but that was probably the most retarded decision ever made since Rocky letting Apollo go out for round 2 against Ivan Drago.

Why do they always have to come out slow to start games? It drives me crazy. Its as if they prefer to mount a comeback than to protect a lead  ???

Pierce running down the clock bothered me too.

i thought the biggest mistake was taking pierce out with his 3rd foul. there were like 3 minutes left, 12 point defecit. gotta trust pierce and let him play there. then the lead swelled big time. c's dug a huge hole tonight, could not get out, but this series is still winnable. the magic did not impress me very much.

They are playing tired and with a vacuum of leadership on the floor.

Both Pierce and Ray are better then they have been showing in the playoffs.  They are too good to be this inconsistent.

They also did not impress me, but except for about 10-12 minutes tonight, neither did the Celtics. Two flawed teams, but I think Pierce and the C's may be too dead tired to win this one.

I was at the game, and was wondering the SAME thing... WHY THE EFF DID HE WAIT SO [dang] LONG. Just didn't make any sense to me, it almost looked like he was purposely winding the clock down in a tied game so he could take the last shot...
