I think the only other guy who should have been in consideration was Wade. Lebron is a deserving choice.
Even if you agree with the league's definition of "most valuable", you must really, really dislike Kobe to not acknowledge the heavily documented fact (by the media) that this MVP "race", in lieu of Wade's scoring title, was between LeBron and Kobe.
That said, LeBron might be the first guy I can remember that if I think about "how good is this team without this one guy" actually meets my own personal definition of MVP. Cleveland wins maybe 10 games if they don't have LeBron.
I still can't stand the guy.
