too bad that crowd was weak throughout the game.  Probably worst game 7 crowd ever.  I was there and it was barely befitting of a good regular season game.

I thought it was pretty awesome that Comcast played the entire introduction on TV.  My dad wanted to put on TNT and I told him not for a game 7, because you want some real Celtics basketball fans to get you pumped up, not some guys talking about how the smell of Lebron James's poops smells like a beautiful garden after a fresh rain.  Right after I said that, I put on Comcast and there was the introduction to get us all pumped up.

Also, during every critical moment of the series, and especially during the overtimes, during the timeout breaks, I would switch to TNT to see what they were saying and EVERY SINGLE TIME they were on break, while I don't think Comcast had any commercials during the overtimes at all.  All we had was Tommy talking about how great the series was and how we are priviliged.  Great stuff by Comcast and I will miss them...

Speaking of CSN, does anyone have any of the calls from Mike Gorman during this series.  All youtube has is the TNT and ESPN calls.  I wasn't in Massachusetts for the series so I didn't get to hear Mike and Tommy.  Knowing how good Mike Gorman is I'm sure he had some amazing calls during some of those shots in the series.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

Question: I have DirecTV. Don't they block out the Comcast feed (channel 630) when the games are on national television (i.e. TNT)? Are you telling me I could have been watching all these games with Mike and Tommy announcing instead of the national television guys? Please tell me now! lol

All games was on Comcast but I think from the semifinals on, it's all on national TV.  I am not sure about this but after a certain level in the playoffs, it goes all to national TV.

Hmm not sure what section you were in, but mine was out of control.  Have to disagree with you on this one.

Thanks for posting (and recording) this, TP for you, it gave me chills!

Indeed, the HG version is amazing. Too bad TNT didn't show the intro prior to the game, especially considering they did it last year.

I disagree completely, the crowd was very much into it throughout.

I thought it was a pretty good crowd.

Not the best, but definitely loud and pumped up.

I watched the repeat on TNT and I think they actually lowered the crowd Volume, because the crowd really were making a tonne of noise
