  • Doc could learn a thing or two from Norman Dale
1) It's his son Jaelen's 8th birthday;

2) He bet on the 52-to-1 long shot winner of the Kentucky Derby; and

3) He scored 16 points on 5-for-5 shooting (4-for-4 3PT), including scoring the basket that put the Celts ahead for good.

Congrats, Eddie!

Haha I'm the most happy about number 3, but the other 2 are cool too.  This reminds me a lot of game 7 against Cleveland last year.  He had been lost in the series, but showed up big when it mattered most.  Got the crowd chanting...

EDDIE! EDDIE! EDDIE!
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

Eddie was perfect tonight! He hit all the shots that he missed during the whole series. Gotta love Eddie Money!

We don't win tonight without House.

Congrats, Eddie. And welcome back. Please keep it up.

  • Rondo = Good
Let's hope it's not a one day thing.

Eddie was huge tonight -- player of the game! However, I gotta give some love to Marbury. He played great defense on Rose when Rondo was out for extended time in the first half, he made some nice passes, he hit two clutch free throws down the stretch and had no turnovers. A solid 12 minutes from Steph.
