There's been criticism over who's been taking the shots at crunch time.  I'm curious if Pierce is still the #1 option for most fans.  For me, Ray gets the slight edge over Pierce, but both have performed this duty admirably throughout the regular season and this round.

Best case scenario Gabe Pruitt dribbles out the clock up 25.

I'm a believer in going with the hot hand.

I would have liked to have seen Ray get one out of the 4 chances they had.

I know Rondo felt like he had made to the hoop the possession before the final shot in triple OT, so he felt like he could do it again, but man oh man, Ray Allen was having one of the all time great shooting nights.
Yup

I always want Ray taking the last shot if it is going to be for the win.  But tonight I am hoping for Eddie or Gabe or someone else because it is a blowout and Ray is on the bench resting.  My heart can't take any more of these close games.

I voted for Paul Pierce because he is still the Truth and I trust his ability to single-handedly put the team on his back and carry us to victory. I've seen him do it his whole career and I'm not going to abandon him now.

But with that said, if we clear it out for Rondo I think he could get past ANYBODY and score before the buzzer sounds.

I want Bill Walker or Gabe Pruitt to take the final shot. Draw your own conclusions  ;D

I'd normally say "whoever is most open", but come on...  it's Ray.

Except, apparently, for Derek Rose. ;)

  This Pruitt and Walker nonsense is weak.

  It's got to be Scal shooting a three...

Haha.  The OP did say "crunch time" and "down to the wire", so I'm not sure that Pruitt, et. al., are the best choice.

I tend to agree about Rondo.  That's why I didn't mind Rondo taking the last shot in game 6.  In order, I'd like:

1) Ray Allen shooting a jumper coming off a screen;
2) Rondo driving, possibly dishing to an open shooter in the corner, or taking it to the hole himself;
3) Pierce getting into his "sweet spot" at the corner of the key and taking his trademark step-back.

Normally I'd put Pierce ahead of Rondo, but with his disturbing lack of zip this postseason I'm worried that his step-back will get blocked (as it did the other game by Rose).

Come on, do you have to ask this?

Ray Allen.
