Was it just me or was KG calm as a bomb last night (game 6) on the bench?

He looked sedated. He looked like somebody had drugged him up prior to the game (and again at halftime).

You know when animal rescue teams need to shoot a tranquilizer dart in a dangerous animal so they can aid it? That's how KG looked last night. No intensity, no MF-bombs, no clapping, and when the camera showed the bench he looked like he was in a trance.

Either that OR...

He was so caught up with emotion (or the fact that he's stuck on the sidelines) that the intensity had been sucked right out of him.

Thoughts?

With all due respect...who really cares?  His being on the bench is the right thing in my opinion, but our guys on the floor are just not stringing together good enough defensive possessions to win games.  Period.

I love KG to death and love the intensity he brings even when he is on the bench, but everyone is overanalyzing his situation.  The guys on the floor are the ones that are going to win ball games for us.  Until KG retutrns he is not one of them.

Neither of your comments have addressed my OBSERVATION that KG didn't seem to be his normal, MF-bombing, intense self.

I know he's not on the floor but to think his intense presence (which was lacking last night) doesn't affect the guys playing is wild.

I understand it does not address your observation.  I noticed he only dropped maybe one f-bomb last night too.

What I was trying to say is that KG isn't playing.  He could dress up in a clown suit and it wouldn't affect the outcome of the game.  His intensity does affect the fellas some but not to the point of deciding a game.  I just think it's pointless to keep talking about his behavior.

He was yelling in Rondo's ear at one point last night (end of regulation or 1st OT, maybe?) and I saw the stiff lip look last night.  Nothing seemed too out of the ordinary that I would expect from him.

First of all, funny post. To me KG plays like a rabid dog so I like the anology of the dart tranquilizers. Just keep in mind you may need 6 or 7 to keep him sedated. Come prepared.

He did seem more sedated but I doubt he is. It wouldn't suprise me if perhaps after the pic of him snearing at Gordon ( real or not as some have mentioned he could have been yelling at another teammate coming off the floor and it just looks like he's sneering at Gordon ) the team may have asked him to trim it back, cause they don't need to add any more fuel to Chicago's blaze...

or, he might just be so intense he's kind of comatose with angst. This wouldn't suprise me either.
