... is at 8:00pm! Not an afternoon game, I like our chances more than expected, even if it will be tough, especially considering the little rest ouy guys will have between the games.

wanna hear something really tragic? i have a wedding to go to saturday. will have to dvr the game, hope no one at the wedding says anything, come home and watch it. i was dreading going to this wedding anyway, now it is going to be twice as brutal.

that being said, i am confident of a celtics win.

That's funny, I was debating going to a wedding but when I saw that there MIGHT be a game 7 on that day, I politely declined.

But I agree, try to sneak a peek on your phone!

i agreed to go 6 weeks ago. i asked my wife about skipping and she said "your meal is paid for by the bride and groom, you are going". that was the end of that.

i do not have a phone that will enable me to follow the game. i was dreading this wedding anyway, now it is really bad. i do not mind the bride, but the groom is a complete tool. it is going to be brutal. as soon as dinner is over, i am going to start politicing to hit the road.

I like the fact that this is a Saturday night game.  With the crowd having sufficient time to get lathered up, I think we'll have an even better atmosphere than Game 5.

If the wedding and dinner is at 8 that's a late wedding. That's messed up. This jsut shows the importance of planning your weddings around sports events.  Do not plan a wedding on potential game 7s. Don't do it on Super Bowl Sunday.  I mean seriously folks

Agreed.  I will be there in my usual seats ready to go.  Hell I'm ready to go now!

I agree with this also.  My brother planned his around the possibility that the Red Sox would be in the WS in 2007.  He's a smart man... planned it near perfectly.  I only say NEAR perfectly because I missed the Celtics' opening night (the first game of the new big three against Washington) because his rehersal dinner was that night.

Luckily the game was on at the bar and I "went to the bathroom" quite a few times during dinner!

You declined simply because of the POSSIBILITY of a game 7 on that day? That's hilarious and hardcore! You rock!

Hell I'm ready to go now!

I admire your enthusiasm but I think we'll need to wait for the teams to get there.  ;) And with a little rest I'm sure they'll all perform a little better!
