I don't know much about his injury but i do know that his pain will be far more excruciating if we (god forbid) loose game 7. I know how passionate KG is as a player and nothing is killing him more than to watch from the sideline.

I say bang it out, suit up and lets end this thing!

So a 50% KG is better than a 100% Glen Davis just because he is passionate about winning? I mean I'd love to see KG out there as much as anyone but this is ridiculous. He won't help the team if he is as hurt as doc says he is.

I really don't see anyway he plays for the first time in a game 7.

are we really ready to let stephon play the point in this game 7 if rondo doesnt go were gna need to use that HCA to our advantage even if KG only plays 5 minutes or maybe just suits up and doesnt play (weak i know) just something to get the fans jolted real real early

Yeah even if Rondo is suspended, there is no reason putting a guy on the floor at a different position will really make a difference in the way the game is played. Losing Rondo is huge, but playing a rusty, injured Garnett with the possibility of him getting hurt worse is just plain dumb.

OH, and how does playing Garnett have anything to do with Stephon at the point?!?!?!

not directly but with stephon in itd be nice to have KG out there with him give us another option its a stretch and i agree its a stretch cuz i believe in this team as much as the next guy but id ont see how dressing KG and not playin him or playin him 5 minutes hurts us in any way (especially no rondo)

I was justifying that his injury is indeed legitimate because no passionate player would sit on the sideline if it wasn't a serious injury, having said that, it really is make or break. A suited up KG would blow the roof off the garden it would also distract the bulls from the get go.

Can you imagine boost of confidence that would trickle down to everyone including Miki Moore

...or it would kill whatever we have left if he goes down again.

So suiting up KG would be a career threatening injury waiting to happen?

No, not necessary career ending (I don't even want to think about that). I just mean if something were to happen, it would kill the crowd, the momentum, the team's focus, etc.

But suiting up and not playing is an interesting idea.. I don't know how much KG would appreciate being a mascot though.

I know there is another thread for this, but Rondo getting suspended is not some kind of coming reality. It will be dumbfounding if the punishment assessed in the game and the mutual nature of the incident are not deemed fitting. The Bulls aren't even crying for redress this time, are they? The league will look, and will not see any clear punch. SHove and pushes are flagrant one fouls at worst, not suspension worthy. If circumstances didn't save Rajon last time, they surely will this time. Sitting Rondo would be too unjust and capricious.

Come on. Rondo is going to play, KG is going to get ready for Cleveland. The plan stays realistic. Honestly, a first quarter of a decoy KG and the rest of the game of Noah and Thomas running wild on him and Miller flopping in front of him is not something I want to see. The initial energy surge is not worht it. If the Big Ticket is not secretly at least as well as he was when he played those games in March, then keep him right where he is. If we can't come out and run the Bulls out of the building in a Game 7, or fight them off whatever happens, they deserve to get past us to the second round. It has been a great fight. But I fear that scenario very little. KG is there on the sideline, and there are champions all around him ready to go to war.

Because putting on a sweatsuit is much more risky than putting on a suit?

....oh, I don't want him to play...just get in uniform on the bench
