I know there is another thread for this, but Rondo getting suspended is not some kind of coming reality. It will be dumbfounding if the punishment assessed in the game and the mutual nature of the incident are not deemed fitting. The Bulls aren't even crying for redress this time, are they? The league will look, and will not see any clear punch. SHove and pushes are flagrant one fouls at worst, not suspension worthy. If circumstances didn't save Rajon last time, they surely will this time. Sitting Rondo would be too unjust and capricious.
Come on. Rondo is going to play, KG is going to get ready for Cleveland. The plan stays realistic. Honestly, a first quarter of a decoy KG and the rest of the game of Noah and Thomas running wild on him and Miller flopping in front of him is not something I want to see. The initial energy surge is not worht it. If the Big Ticket is not secretly at least as well as he was when he played those games in March, then keep him right where he is. If we can't come out and run the Bulls out of the building in a Game 7, or fight them off whatever happens, they deserve to get past us to the second round. It has been a great fight. But I fear that scenario very little. KG is there on the sideline, and there are champions all around him ready to go to war.
