So for those who believe Rondo should be suspended for his actions...
Would his chances of being suspended be greater if Hinrich was the bigger man and never came after Rondo? I highly doubt it.
The way I see it, the two got tangled up in a box out (which happens all the time, like someone said). One of those players wound up getting thrown to the floor. If it just ended it at that, we wouldn't be talking about it right now... Personal foul, Kirk Hinrich gets 2 shots. But since Hinrich decided to be mr. tough guy, he reacted with his gangsta attitude, going after rondo throwing shots at him. Any motion Rondo made that may have looked like he was striking Hinrich was in self defense, not in any type of retaliation, since you can clearly see after it struck him what was going on, he immediately pulled away and started backing away from the mad man. That is my rationalization, but again I realize that you guys will probably just say I'm wearing those green sunglasses.
