Interesting serie
All day long for Denver in my humb le oppinion
Even if dallas had that great first round
Denver owns Dallas during regular season
4-0
more points, fg and everything
it will be fun
I dont think it will be a sweep
but maybe a 4-2
Once a CrotorNat always a CROTORNAT  2 times CB draft Champion 2009-2012

Dallas has been a lot better lately because Josh Howard is finally back to his normal form.

I also agree with the Sports Guy that Billups is probably the best matchup for Kidd. Billups isn't going to kill him on the drives. It's not really Chauncey's game.

JR Smith and Jason Terry are the best sixth men in the game when it comes to scoring the ball in bursts. Either one can sway the momentum.

I like Dirk so I will be rooting for the Mavs, but I think the HCA will be the deciding factor.

I hate both teams. I'd go with Dallas because I like their players better (hate Dirk and Kidd though), but I think Denver has the better chance of beating the Lakers and such. But Denver is filled with punks.

I will be going for Denver in this series, soley for the fact that the Lakers own Dallas, and Denver would probably give them more of a hard time.
On top of that, I have never really respected/liked Dallas, so yeah, Denver should take them in 6.

When I not following the Celtics my other favorite team to watch is the Nuggets (sometimes it feels like cheating on the Celtics by liking another team.

I know that they have a rep for being thugs, but I love how they play.  Since they picked up Mr. Big Shot they are playing great ball.  They actually have a pretty salty defense to go with a high octane offense.  The only negative to the Nuggets game is they can get sloppy with the ball and give up a high number of turnovers.

In my opinion they are playing the best basketball in the West, they made NO look much worse than they really are.  Billups made Chris Paul look like a rookie, no way that Kidd can play with Billups.  My prediction is Denver in 5.  I also predict at least 2 over 20 pt wins by the Nuggets.

I want Denver to win this one. They're the only team in the West that can compete with the Lakers IMO.
Let's go C's!!!

I think Denver wins fairly easily.  Billups is too quick for Kidd at this stage in their careers, Kenyon Martin is one of the best matchups in the league for Dirk and Melo is too strong for Josh Howard.  I think Nene can run circles around Dampier, as well.  I'd also expect Dahntay Jones to get the assignment on Jet at some point, and Dahntay's a very underrated and pesky defender.

Just a bad matchup for Dallas, in my opinion.

I think the Mavs could surprise people, but in a way I hope not because the Nuggets have the best chance of preventing the Lakers from strolling to the Finals.

First game is today, gonna watch it ( with the time-difference it'll be a late-night game for me...  ;))
But i gotta watch Atlanta vs. Miami first, so maybe i'll be too tired for the mavs vs. nuggets...

I think the nuggets are the favourites but i didn't really expect the mavs to dominate the series against the spurs the way they did, so maybe they can surprise me again...

Terry and J.R. Smith could give their team the edge...

Should be a great series anyway!

Denver should win this series. I don't think Dallas is athletic enough to run with them and we all know how Dallas struggles against teams who run. Denver in 6.
PHX Suns: Russell Westbrook, Chris Bosh, Tristan Thompson, Trevor Ariza, Tony Allen, Trey Lyles, Corey Brewer, Larry Nance Jr., Trey Burke, Troy Daniels, Joffrey Lauvergne, Justin Holiday, Mike Muscala, 14.6

Completely agree.

Also, i had Chauncy on my yahoo fantasy team all season and developed a huge man crush. I had a hard time liking him when he was on Detroit, but I've discovered a new respect for the man on Denver now.

I think Denver would be legitimate contenders with LA if they had kept Camby or McDyess. Never can have enough pitching and you never can have enough big men. Actually McDyess would of been huge for the C's too and if he had known the Pistons would suck without Billups, I think he would of come to Boston.

At the end of the season, I was really hoping Dallas would play LA in the first round. Unfortunately, LA got Utah and wasn't challenged. Dallas end the season very strong.

I see a lot of 6 game predictions in this thread. I am always reluctant to pick the higher seed in 6 unless it is the finals. It just seems more likely that they win at home in 5 or in 7. Of the 2 first round series that went 4-2, only one was won by the higher seed.

I say Nuggets in 5 - they lose 1 in Dallas.
