I wish they would hit him in the mouth. Im not sure his scrowny @$$ could handle it. He would have gotten up toothless from an equal foul from Miller

boy for a person who's claimed to be a fan of neither team in the series, you sure do have a lot of hate directed at one team and nothing to say but things about how great another one is.

You can say your from Chicago, we don't ban for that here, in fact one of our best posters (IMO) is from CLEV and a cavs fan :D

I figure the refs will get him, then Perk, Then PP, and of courdse Ray...again...! The ball was there for a minute, he swiped for it, then got "miller time"...!  That was perfect..justice prevails!!!!!

It's possible. I see someone like Joakim Noah or Tyrus Thomas doing it. But I'm sure as soon as either of them take Rondo down hard or intentionally, they'll get the boot.
PHX Suns: Russell Westbrook, Chris Bosh, Tristan Thompson, Trevor Ariza, Tony Allen, Trey Lyles, Corey Brewer, Larry Nance Jr., Trey Burke, Troy Daniels, Joffrey Lauvergne, Justin Holiday, Mike Muscala, 14.6

From Chicago Tribune  and VDN at today's Bulls Shootaround:

Quote
Do the Bulls need to place a hard foul on Rondo? “We’ll play that by ear. We’ve given up too many layups and we’ve talked about that a lot. Now it’s executing the game plan and that’s in the gameplan. You can’t give up layups and easy baskets in the playoffs. We’ve done a little better job but not as much as I would like.”

I guess I'm Old school but isn't that that one of the reasons a guy like Walker is on the bench? I mean, if someone on the Bulls should put a dirty foul on Rondo, you throw Walker in the game to get even. He looks like he can take care of himself and it's not like he's getting into the game anyway.

Ignoring the fact that this is bad for Rajon, this is yet another example of VDN silliness.  If you're going to hard foul someone for revenge, don't essentially ADMIT TO IT BEFOREHAND.

Rondo definitely will get hit hard and not just once or twice! Chicago would love nothing more then to get Perk or BBD or for that matter any other starter in foul or suspension trouble. In their eyes it would make things even anyway and they feel they owe the C's. You are right about Walker and he or Tony Allen may be the player we use to retaliate. With Tony getting death threats I doubt any player on Chicago wants to be guarded too closely by him.

we'll find out tonight!! i hope they do, not because I want to see Rondo get hurt, but mostly because I feel like the Celtics have been positioned as the bad guys this whole series.

Either way, this has been one for the ages, 3 overtime games! Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.!!

BTdub, just checked my stats and realized that I haven't posted here since 9/11/08 ... that celtics stuff live fantasy league really took all my energy during the season. Hopefully I can find a better balance for my time when next years fantasy starts again.

Lets go BOSTON.

I want to see Rondo drive at the bulls on the very first possession.  And I want to see Rondo drive at Miller on the very first play Miller checks in for.

I want to see Rondo drive at the bulls on the very first possession.  And I want to see Rondo drive at Miller on the very first play Miller checks in for.

How epic would it be if Brad Miller checked into the game, and Rondo immediately got him with the fake-behind-the back-move, laid the ball in, and stole Miller's inbound pass all in one play? All of this of course being followed by a VDN timeout that  culminates in Miller being relegated to the end of the bench where he sits with a towel over his head and sobs uncontrollably (while occasionally checking his lip for blood)?
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.
