I hate players that project fake toughness, and Noah is pretty much at the top of that category.  He's also just not that talented, so it's infuriating to see him score or do anything well.

I can't stand seeing him run around like a tough guy, and trying to act like he's a dominant player, when he knows [dang] well just how miserable his life would be right now if KG was there.

The video on the first page pretty much sums up the noah hate. The dude doesn't know when to reign it in.

Like Rodman or Varajao - the flamboyant hustler is hated by opponents and loved by his own team.

He can try and rationalize why people hate him but he is ignoring the fact that he is a complimentary player and not a star.  It's one thing for someone like Muhammed Ali to act like a showboat. little different for a guy who isn't even close to the best player on his team.

I have not liked the kid since college. I don't mind the screaming and pounding of the chest, as long as you are a great player. In college he was a big fish in a small pond. Now, he is just a roll player. A good role player, but c'mon dude, you're not a star.

Hopefully this post will not result in a reverse jinx, and we see Noah drop 30 and 17 on us tonight.

to be honest, he's a guy i wouldn't mind hating as he came of the bench for the Celtics. While I agree, he's unlikeable, the kid rebounds and blocks shots. His man on man defense has looked pretty good also. Sure he doesn't have a shot, but neither did Perkens until fairly resently.
Lastly I have a feeling, and no I'm not compairing their skill, that we feel about him as others feel about Garnett. I can't imagine there aren't quite a few fans who hate a guy who gets down on all fours while guarding someone. Or the hand clapping, swaring, etc. Personally, I like it, but I'm sure others don't.

Funny thing is, I was hoping to draft this guy #5 as a backup to Perkins and Jefferson.

Wouldn't a nucleus of Rondo, Delonte, Pierce, Perkins, and Jefferson with Noah, Scalabrine, Gomes, and added #2 guard look pretty good now?

Hate is a strong word. I can't even think of one person I hate never mind Joakim Noah.

Wow, I had to give you a TP. If in fact there is on one you can think of that you hate, you are a much better person than I am. I really wish I could be so forgiving.

You forgot to subtract Banner 17 from that equation.  So my answer is no.  It's startin to look like we got a pretty good bench big in Glen Davis from that draft anyway.

Im not a big fan of college basketball and I havent followed Noah at all since hes been on the Bulls, however hes already on my 'Cant Stand you' List.  He's really REALLY irritated in this series, and not b/c hes played well (b/c he has).  Theres something about those Florida Gators players that just love to get under us Celtics fans skin.  Noah this year.  Horford last year.  Im wondering if we'd have to watch Corey Brewer do back flips up the court in the middle of the game if we ever met the T'Wolves in the playoffs.

Someone mentioned earlier that Noah belongs in the same class as Mikki Moore.  As much as I hate Noah, hes much much better than Moore.  Last time I checked Mikki has never given us 10 points 12 boards and 3 blocks.  If Noah is in Mikkis class, then I hope his lucky streak ends and his horrible game rears it's ugly head in tonights game.

I can't stand this guy, and I can't stand either all the love the media (and the people) give him here in France. Basketball isn't really popular here but the sports journalists keep talking of the French players in the NBA and by listening to them you'd think that Noah is a great player. ::)

You know who I hate even more than Noah? Aaron Gray. After every Bulls basket he looks down at our bench and then into the crowd with a look on his face like he's the man. I remember a play from game 1 where rondo thought he got fouled and threw the ball at the rim without getting the call. After the ball went out of bounds there was a TV timeout and Gray went all the way to the other side of the court to point and laugh in Rondo's face. How's that working out? Honestly, I'm shocked KG hasn't gone down there yet and pounded his face in. Has anyone else noticed this? If you're going to the game tonight, watch him.

Joakim likes to make gang signs, or is it a signal to his home planet?
