-- Miller says that if the Celtics get past the Bulls, Kevin Garnett will play. Miller says he's not saying he talked to KG, but that's what Reggie believes.

Now I know it says that Reggie hasn't talked to KG about it, but I have a feeling that he has. KG and Reggie and really close and is the reason Reggie was considering a come back to join the celtics last year. I have to believe he has some inside knoledge of the situation. Lets hope he is right.

Funny. Dale and Holly were talking about how Reggie Theus said that KG would play in the next round. I was going to post that you had the wrong Reggie.

Good! Hopefully its true cause KG is about to explode on the bench. And if he gets unleashed watch out league, KG is looking for blood.

I join you in your hopes, but let's not forget that we'd better take care of this scrappy Chicago bunch tonight first.

I'm not really taking anyone in the media (or college campus') words for it anymore.

I'll have to see it to believe.  Waaaaay too much speculation out there.  I honestly believe that maybe 2 or 3 people in the organization including KG really have an idea of what's going on.

Everyone else is purely speculating at this point.

Although I would love to see KG play he should just get the surgery. If, and thats a big if, he comes back I would assume he would be nowhere near full strength, you cannot go from out for the playoffs to full strength in a few days. And without a fully healthy KG we still are not beating the cavs especially with an overly tired Paul Pierce.

I do not want to be a pessimist but this is the truth and it is hard to admit but this year is not our year

I've always thought he would come back this season. How could he be able to play and run for three or four games and then not be able to play at all in the playoffs.

I think the Celts are just trying to get him a smuch rest as possible before he in fact does come back.

I think that also includes keeping him out the next round if it looks like we can win it without him.

Again, that's why it would've been so nice to win that game four in Chicago...get us a little rest while it looks like Philly and Orlando could go to seven...

he'll be back but only after they can give him as much rest as they possibly can.

why on earth would i admit that before we get our ticket punched? do i get a special pessimist badge for quitting on the team earlier than the fool's who think anything can happen in the playoffs?

I think it's pretty clear we aren't as strong of a team as last year, but i'll hold off on writing this year off till someone punches us out, thanks.

Ditto, Crownsy.  And a TP for hanging in there like a real fan and not committing suicide off the moving bandwagon like some.

None of this matters if we don't make it to the next round anyway

We aren't as strong with the injuries.

Without the injuries, I think we are as strong as last year.

I heard this on the radio yesterday morning.  This is just DP trying to make news, it was pretty clear that Reggie had no inside info here.  Classic case of throw it against the wall and see if it sticks.

The only one who knows KG's timetable is KG.
