After reading a bunch of stuff on the internet all most of it talks about is Lebron vs Kobe in the NBA Finals, like no other team has a chance. Like why are these teams even playing each other shouldn't everyone else go home so we can watch Lebron's team and Kobe's team on the court? Being a Celtics fan, I think it is an obvious disrespect to the defending champs. However it is also disrespectful to other NBA Teams.  I love the way Denver is playing right now and they have a great team. They just won by a ridiculous 58 points on New Orleans home floor. To me that is absoluetely ridiculous that is the biggest blowout I've ever seen. It makes last year's Game 6 win by 39 points realatively tame. The funny thing is no one will talk about the Nuggets even after this huge win. There will be much more emphasis on how the Cavs won by 15 or 20 points and the Lakers won by 15 or 20 points like those wins were much better and more decisive than Denver's win. Denver just won by 58 points, if they aren't considered a legitimate chance to win the title it is a huge disrespect to that team.

I don't think it is disrespectful to the Celtics so long as KG is out. We aren't much of a threat without him.

I mean look at this article written by some guy on the internet "Despite the speed bump the Lakers hit in Utah Thursday night, there remains little doubt that the two best basketball players in the world will keep their date with destiny in the NBA Finals this June"  Really, after just the 1st round.  So what are the Nuggets a garbage team that has little to no chance? That is ridiculous.  Denver just won by 58 points in one game against a much better team New Orleans, while Cleveland beat Detroit, a team that was barely even trying, by 62 points in 4 games.  Nobody is even going to talk about the Nuggets after this win, it is ridiculous.

I'm just glad it looks like (knock on wood) Carmelo will finally get out of the first rd and make some noise this year.  You can't overstate the impact of Chauncey Billups on that team over Iverson - it's night and day.  Still can't see them beating the Lakers if they both get that far though.

New Orleans looked like they've had one foot in Maui, as Kenny Smith would say, all series.  I think they had just enough pride to come back and avoid the sweep in Game 3, and now they're ready to call it a season.  Good riddance if that's how little they care.

Or maybe NO just isn't good enough.

The Clippers on a bad day are good enough to not get beat by 58.  NO's not good enough to win a title or anything, but they're better than they've played this series.

Byron Scott is a terrible coach. He has given up on the team or vice versa. He doesn't call to's to stop runs and doesn't know how to run an offense or defense.

My favorite Bryon Scott times were when he refused to double Paul Pierce when our second best player was Antoine Walker.
