LBJ is a physical beast and often drives to the rim which such intensity that there is almost always contact. Given the fact that he is a superstar, he is going to get the benefit of the doubt most of the time from referees. His game of attacking the basket translates to a lot of free throw opportunities. I'm not saying that all the FTs are warranted but his game suggests that he is going to draw contact.
Anybody who's well known gets treated better by the refs, it's a common place thing. Which is fine by me as long as they're consistent. Paul Pierce deserves more respect, and today he didn't get any from the refs.
He also only committed 5 fouls in 4 games and he averaged 40.5 minutes per game.
