After reading that, my first question is, why Tony? Because he grew up in Chicago? Do they think he's turned his back on his hometown by playing briefly in a game in which the Celtics whomped the Bulls? If that's the reasoning, wow. That's taking it way too far--a complete overreaction to a sporting event.

And Stern said this is a common thing? Who are these fans???
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

That's not at all the reasoning.

Check the front page topic on this subject, and you'll learn a lot about Tony. Probably more than you'd like to know.
Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."

Thanks for being abrupt and condescending. Is this what you were talking about? http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=4094591

Thanks for flying off the handle.

Tony has a LONG history of off-court problems. This site has a front page that includes a complete recap of all the trouble he's run into off the floor, dating back to junior college.

Here's a link: http://www.celticsblog.com/2009/4/25/852745/sources-tonys-troubles-deep

And a tip: If you want the latest on the Celtics, ESPN doesn't have it.

I wasn't flying off the handle. I was stating that calmly.

And yes, youre right. ESPN has minimal coverage of the Celtics... they prefer to cover teams with more glitz (Lakers, Cavs etc.)

A few of these players never understand why you can't go back to being a hood rat or a "gangster" after you get up and out.....You can't because your old people want what you have, they'll hate you, set you up, try to bring you back down...that is how it is in some of those situations, they only love ya when you are in it up to your neck...!
