Ok A little crazy but if Portland was serious about winning a Title next Year they need 1 more Stud on their Team.

And we need to get younger and deeper. So We send Portland are Stud Small Forward, Paul Pierce Along with throw-ins, Giddens, Walker, Erden, and Pruitt.

Now before you Scoff look at Portland Starters.
Pryzbilla
Aldridge
Pierce
Roy
Blake

Now that starting five and a bunch of Scrubs could come out of the West Easy. Which is what they will have. Because we will raid there bench. We get....

Batum, Martell Webster, R. Fernandez, Travis Outlaw, Jarrod Bayless, And Greg Oden.

Now Take are Starting Four of Perkins, KG, Ray, and Rondo.
Start Outlaw at the three, and combine that with all those Long athletic bodies we need so much. And I think this makes sense for both sides.

Also Danny could package that Talent, for whatever else he wanted.

lol, no.

Let's analyze this:  you're trading arguably our best player along with a project SG, a 'promising' project SF, a project combo guard and a project center who'll likely never make the league.

We get a project SF, a project SG, a project PG, a couple of decent backup SF's, and a project C.

Rajon Rondo - Jerryd Bayless
Ray Allen - Tony Allen - Martell Webster
Travis Outlaw - Rudy Fernandez - Nicolas Batum
Kevin Garnett - Leon Powe
Kendrick Perkins - Greg Oden - Glen Davis

Portland fans would love Danny Ainge forever - even though you leave them with only one real SF on their roster.  In the meantime, you worsen our situation in the short run, and while Portland's crop of youngsters is somewhat more promising than our own, it isn't a difference worth saying bye to Paul Pierce.

There are lots of reasons.

I'll name one:

Portland used their number 1 pick on Oden just two years ago. I don't think its likely they would ship him out just like that.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

We give up one very good nba player, 2 projects and some garbage and get back 4 good basketball players and 2 prospects (notice the difference b/w projects and prospects).

Portland would NEVER EVER do this...although, surprisingly, I am not convinced the Celtics would either.

Say what you want But look at it from a defensive View.

Are Bigs would be Perkins Awesome, KG one of the best D fensive bigs ever, Oden who knows, but could be great at D, And Big Baby would round it out perfect. ;D

Then we have an up and Coming, top 3 young point guards in the Nba. With Ray Allen And Fernandez, two of the great shooters in the game. Bayless a Potential stud that I really like.

And with the Crazy athlete's and the length of Webster, Batum, and Outlaw, are Defense would be The best in the game, Top to Bottom no question.

Aztar, do you know what position these guys Play???

Webster is a  natural Small Forwards.

 Fernandez is a shooting guard.

 Baby is a Power Forward.

Paul Pierce?  Trade Paul Pierce?!?!

Surely that would be some sort of blasphemy?

Webster and Fernandez are wings, capable of playing either position.  Baby would be our fifth big man, capable of playing either position reasonably well - I just stuck him at center for no particular reason.

EDIT:  And it looks like Fernandez played strictly as an SG this year.  My fault on that one.  Having said that, the other two could still be placed at either position.

For you guys that are saying H No! Look at Yall Hate's post.

Closer to reality, Portland Would not give up there depth, for 1 great player and 1 to 3 years of championship contention.

Portland would be awesome with that starting five though.

True, but Fernandez would have a tuff time at the three, vrs most players. And Baby would be are 4th best Big.

Again, my fault on Fernandez - for some reason I thought he played more 3 than 2.  And Baby > Powe is an opinion.  From a strategic standpoint, he'd probably be better with Oden to stretch the floor a little bit, but I don't necessarily think he's our 4th big over Powe.
