Detroit played tough in the 3rd, but they're badly outmatched

Kwaeme Brown actually looked almost decent for a stretch

From what I could see (and I only watched the 3rd & 4th quarters) once Cleveland turned up the defensive pressure, Detroit was done.

I don't think they have a chance getting out of the 1st round with Curry. I really used to respect them its just disappointing to see them now. I'm curious to see if their cap space will help them get back to being a top team.

Both Miami and Atlanta should be tough opponents for the Cavs. Regardless if they sweep or not, I expect many close physical games.

miami isnt, seeing as the whole Miami team is basically D-Wade. But if they play ATL and J-Smoove has ice water in his veins like he did against us and Joe Johnson plays well as usual they could win.

The NBA can't fix games but they can give a team a free throw advantage, which is what they do.  The LeBrons have had that advantage all year long.
Never forget the Champs of '08, or the gutsy warriors of '10.

Actually I think it's good that they sweep the Pistons (they are toasted already and looking for big changes):

Lebron and the Brazilian dancers will increase their little egos and will underestimate Atlanta or Miami, which are tough match-ups with either Joe Johnson or Dwayne Wade.

The League a via the refs can change an awful lot....They can take out your center, call a few fouls on your guy when he is hot or "gel-ling" they can stifle your come-back run, give the other team a crazy % of free throws...the NBA refs are ruining this game, wayyy too much influence..what is next, maybe soon they will ask for subs so they can take a break, or want new uniforms, bigger whistles, battery operated with remote control, their OWN cheerleaders, in stripes!!! Strippers in stripes!!! Hmmm, that'll work..! So, yes, the league loves lbj, and his team of scrubs...!

Na', they also have Jermaine O'neal in there that is fully capable of having some really good games. Their main problem is rebounding, if they do that, they can be dangerous.

The team plays defense, and has some skilled defenders. Chambers and Wade can more than bother Mo and West, which should be very key in disrupting Cleveland.

They also have some long players at the wing, including James Jones and Moon which should at least bother LeBron somewhat, with Haslem helping behind them.

They have some skilled big man to that can bother and put the front court of Cleveland in foul trouble, especially with Jermaine and Beasly, and Haslem as an active energy player.

They also have some good 3-point shooters that will help spread the floor against Cleveland.

But again, their main problem is rebounding and consistency, but they can be a dangerous team and they played Cleveland quite well in the season. And as you say, there's always Wade.

I think they can give Cleveland a good series.

Haslem used to be able to cover lgj...maybe still..? Oneil can cover Z Beasley can eat up varajo, especially IF he stays on him, Wade should be able to eat up cleve the way he is playing, mo williams cannot cover him, neither can west..Atl's coach is lost against Miami, no plan....! Atl looks lost....they are a good team, but look shell-shocked last 2 games.....Miami could do well here...! How is their bench??? Oneil backup..? Det is gone...all they can do is beat cleve physically to slow em up....~!
