CHICAGO – As the target of a possible violent threat by a Chicago man, Boston Celtics guard Tony Allen was under intensive watch by an increased force of NBA security officers Thursday night at the United Center, multiple sources told Yahoo! Sports.“It’s a private team matter,” Celtics president Rich Gotham told Yahoo! Sports. “It’s just not something that we are going to talk about.” NBA spokesman Tim Frank said the league doesn’t comment on security issues.Sources say that the trouble stems from an alleged disagreement with a Chicago individual that dates back over a year.
