Going through my checklist for the series:

+ Paul Pierce playing like Paul Pierce of the regular season. Those blocks on his jump shots in the 4th qtr were truly awful.

+ Eddie House getting more shots

+ Tony Allen getting lock down assignments on hot Bulls guards.

+ Stephon Marbury getting confidence.

+ Hopefully Scalabrine will get out there and do some good.

The Bulls have swagger and we do not. There still is an opportunity to turn this around and the onus falls on Doc Rivers to make adjustments to cut down on turnovers, rotate back on defense, and contest Chicago quick shots. I noticed that Chicago is taking a lot of quick shots in this series and this can cost them if the Celtic players are disciplined.

scal will not make a bad pass or throw the ball out of bounds

scal is a decent 3pt shooter people sleep on..he will help

gordons on fire and in chi town he will be the human torch..it's 4 other players we got to worry about and gordon cant do it all night..he will fall off...we got to make the extra pass hit open shots and paul needs to make all his freethrows...a must is to also get back on D...i want to see moore do more on the D end

Scals, if not too rusty on defense, will be a ray of sunshine. He defends the pick and roll better than anyone we have starting including Perk and BBD.  He probably understands that difficult assignment second best behind KG.

I am not giving up on this team yet.
Game 1 sucked watching D Rose destroy  the Celtics, but the adjustments on D for game 2 were encouraging.

This bulls match up reminds me alot of the Celtic's 1st round matchup with the Hawks last year.  I was extremly worried about the Celtics chances of beating both the Cavs and the Pistons last year because of how poorly they played in round 1.  We all know that the Celtics did not have all the injury issues last year, but they still strugled at the start of the playoffs.
Despite all the injuries I feel like this team has a lot of toughness. On paper things it looks like this team is overmatched, but just like the Spurs, there is something about the Celtics that they refuse to lose.  If the Celtics can keep it close, they have 2 of the most clutch players in the league in Ray and Paul.  The Celtics may not be the best team in the playoffs this year but they have a punchers chance.

i am actually very worried.
i know if the whole team plays good celts basketball that we can kill the bulls.

but to be realistic, i am really worried about foul trouble with perk or BBD, cuz Miki has been a disaster so for, worthless. thats where trouble starts.

i feel that doc needs to start thinking about playing small. we have the players to run it, and i think it would really get steph going rather than playing half court. we have eddie and ray to spot up for 3s on break aways, rondo steph and paul would run the floor. and perk as the only rebounder.

i want to know what u guys think, but i feel its the only option remaining because of the foul trouble we will eventually experience

You want Tyrus Thomas to get even more blocks than he did the last couple games?  Because that's what I think of when I think small ball lineup.  Even Goonface Noah will be gettin' in on the action.

i understand that thomas will be a big threat, but i dont think noah will be able to keep up.
we are in a difficult situation because of out bigs, but from now on, anytime any of our perimeter players get the ball they will be double teamed because we have no inside threat. this is the only chance for us to attack the basket at easily. it could also play in the favor of our bench, especially TA and steph

Yeah, maybe you're right, but I'm still skeptical.  I think mainly we're gonna have to play really tough on Salmons and Gordon so they don't get hot from beyond the arc.  We just have to accept that we're gonna have a really hard time down low in the post on both ends.
