Marbury: "TAKE THE SHOT!"

That's what I find myself yelling at the television frequently while Marbury is on the court.

When the Bulls are viciously doubling Pierce and sometimes Allen, leaving other players - very often Marbury - open, we need the open players to get the ball and take the shot.  All too often I see Marbury get the ball open, and then he decides not to shoot and passes it off to somebody inside who is better covered. 

We need Marbury to take his shots when he gets them.  He can make them now, and we need more help scoring.  BBD can't be our go-to midrange jumper guy when Pierce and Allen are being covered.

I'm glad Marbury isn't being selfish but there's such a thing as being too selfless.

I hear you - only for me it's more like "TAKE IT TO THE HOOP!" as Tommy might say.

Seriously, the Starbury of Old could come in handy right now.
