That was a great game that just finished in Orlando. Down byu 18 the 76ers come backe to win it on a last shot. Is this a lucky game for them, or do you think we could see an upset?

Orlando's offense is way too gimmicky.  They launch 3's and throw lobs to Howard.  That is not a recipe for top tier success if you ask me.  It's too reminiscent of Jim O'Brien.  Sure, you'll win some games and shut some teams down with tough D.  But I don't think you can win a championship that way.

Until the team and Dwight himself gets enough confidence in his post up game, they will not break through to true contender status.  That's my two cents, anyway.

Rough weekend for homecourt huh?
Kudos to the Cavs and Lakers (or tsk tsk to the Pistons and Jazz?) for being the only ones to get the home win so far. I hope the Hawks and Nuggets are ready to play hard tonight.

At least Orlando will not be waltzing into the next round without any resistance - way to go Philly!

That was an awesome game.  Orlando is in trouble, I think that was a bigger loss for them than the Bulls loss for us, honestly.  They can't say that they were playing a lot worse than they normally do...if we played even 50% better than we did on Saturday we'll win 4 straight in this series.

I give SVG credit though, I don't think its the offense he wants to run, but its the offense he has to run with those players.

Glad to hear it- Very overrated team IMO. I turned it off when Orlando was up about 77-61.
I really like Iguadala- he's like a PP with 75% of the talent, but plays hard.

Good points and Tp. I dont care for their style either. Relying on the 3 is just way to risky and inconsitent to give you a legit chance at a title.

Pretty much everyone thought Orlando wasn't a real contender for most of the season. Then towards the end, they kept playing well and winning games and the media were forced to acknowledge them. But nothing really changed. They weren't championship material then and they aren't now. I didn't need to see Philly win to validate that belief. But now, my belief is stronger.

Like others have said, this Orlando loss is bigger than our loss to Chicago yesterday. We just need to find our groove and make a few adjustments to better contain Rose.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if Orlando gets knocked out.

I knew they were pretenders, but wow.

Maybe they really aren't built for the play-offs.

Well then, going on similar lines, are we built for the playoffs?

Gee..I don't know. We did win the whole thing last year.  ::)

But go Philly! At least we weren't the only team that got upset this weekend.

I have a hard time getting on another team's case for choking right now.  PP hits 2 FT's and there's a lot less whining going on right now.
