It's easy for me to say that now, but I legitimately couldn't even comment earlier at some of the poop that was flying Ray's way.
Yup

Let me add another:

People who've steadfastly contended all season that we had a good bench.

You're being exposed right now.

I have thought we have had a decent bench, not great, but you saw and heard tonight what Doc thinks of his bench. He was asked at the start of the 4th about the bench and basically said Eddie can hit some shots, and that Rondo HAD to stay out on the floor the rest of the game. Marbury never made it back in. Moore never did. TA never played a minute. He doesn't trust anyone out there from the bench other than Eddie, Powe, and BBD when it counts.

And Powe's gone.

Doc's right. He's got six players. This bench is a disgrace for a defending champion. I'm firing the first shot right now.

Ainge, you HAVE to do better this summer than your abysmal effort last. Start with a three who can come in, rough up Ben Gordon a little bit and hit a perimeter shot - gosh, wonder who that might be?

Then please, stop collecting 7-foot stiffs and get Perkins some help. Don't even think about Robert Swift. He's as big a bum as O'Bryant and Moore. Perkins is working his case off and he deserves it.

After that, I'll take a veteran point guard to take some of the load off Rondo.

Proven talent. No "prospects." No "suspects." No excuses from the penny-pinching owner. There are players with seven-figure contracts on the roster we don't need. Be creative. Move them.

Get it done.

- when someone has a great game and he is anointed the next Jordan
- flopping
- the number of days between NBA playoff games
- when the any of the Celts don't get back and play D because they think they were fouled or something
- when people hustle on some plays - if you want to play hard you play hard every play
- trying to foul someone driving to the hoop so they can't score on a break but actually just giving them and extra FT

Donny Marshall's non homerism. I don't want to hear how he couldn't lose because either Gordon or Ray was going to be the hero. At least pretend that you aren't rooting for a player on the other team.

What is passing for shotblocking these days. The block is a defensive tool it is not meant to demoralize the opponent or fire up the crowd or make the highlight reel (those are just nice extras). Its not always possible to secure possession after but at least half the time should be a must. If you're just going to swat the ball back into the hands of the other team or out of bounds don't waste my time. Just allow them to make the layup so the game can keep moving.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

People that say the environment is important, then burn 9000 gallons of fuel (at taxpayer expense in a recession) on Earth Day to fly to Iowa to give a speech about the need to reduce our carbon footprint.

Well if you want to look at it that way maybe he should have burned 90,000 gallons to give 10 speeches. I mean if less is more think of how much more more would be

People who overuse the term "at best".

People who say "omg".  "Oh my God" is the same amount of syllables.  You're not saving any time at all.
