This was actually a game that I was bummed out that I was a Celtics game at some points.  Mainly because it would have sucked if they lost and I could not have enjoyed the game as much for being incredibly competitive and entertaining.

Awesome display by Gordon and Ray.

Supreme effort by Perk.

Pierce...well...yeh
Yup

We had one loss where Allen was totally off and JUST lost.
Then we had one win where Allen was on-fire but so was Gordon who is as streaky as anything.
I have a good feeling about the rest of the series.

...and here's to Rondo: 17/16/12(7 offensive)/5stl/2to/+17
and BBD:26/9/1 steal/1 block/ 1 to/ +17

hell of a game from those two.

don't forget Perk as well.

Perk: 16pts 12reb (7 offensive)

Cheers to that. Great game from Perk as well. Some big shots, big boards down the stretch (and throughout the game). As I said earlier, so nice to see Perk this season finally getting the McHale school of offensive rebounding, keeping the bull up and not putting it on the floor for no reason anymore. See how much easier that is?

Trifecta:

Red Sox Win
Bruins Win
Celtics Win

I enjoy being a Boston sports fan, thank you very much.

I won the Boston marathon today too!  ;D Not a bad day uh?

man I was so stressed during the game, thank you Jesus!

The so called shooting slump is down the drain.

Considering that we're playing starters plus House, I'm not optimistic about anything. We looked dead tired and done with four minutes to go.

That was a character win right there.

This is tough. Celts just aren't there, I've got to say. I've been drinking the green kool aid overtime, but the fact that it came down to the final seconds does not project confidence. And if Leon is history, I'm just not seeing this team getting out of the first round, and I hate to say that.
No more waiting

can't say I agree or promote the classless comments directed at many a celtic player, and the casually racist nature of many of those comments, over at blogabull but i do agree entirely with their assesment of vinny del negro's coaching abilities. wow. please don't complain about doc after seeing his rotations and timeout/clock management. tyrus thomas nowhere in the 4th? leaving yourself without a timeout at the end of the game when you could advance the ball to half court with 2 seconds life and a chance to tie? well done.

pierce has to become more of a factor the entire game...but i think he is drained from this whole 2 year run....i want to think boston is going to challenge but i am afraid we are just living on borrowed time

"boo hoo, the celtics can't win the championship so i'm gonna be negative about everything, who cares if it was a close game, we should blow them out"

Come on guys, enjoy watching the team play. and enjoy our young players stepping up. Have we really become THAT spoiled? do we need another 20 year drought before any championships?

I agree. We already got the ring. Just enjoy the ride and have fun watching the team we love from now on. Enjoy it before the big 3 is all set and done.

TP for you, I couldn't agree more. Here it's 4:30 am and I'm just glad to go to bed knowing that the Celtics won a very tough game when all things were going bad for them in the second half (and especially the 4th quarter). I don't know what the series' future holds for the Celtics and honestly at the moment I don't care. Even if the team loses the series this game will be remembered as a classic and I've just enjoyed watching it. It's pretty clear that the repeat is unlikely this year. And so what? The Heat got swept by the Bulls in 2007 and showed no heart. Our team just kept fighting after having disappointed us in the first game, and the spirit of last year's championship is still here.

It's a hell of a ride and I'm glad to live it.

Don't look now, the other bigtime team missing a star is hammering its intrastate rival.  Popovich made it very clear that their run for the championship didn't end with Ginobili's injury.  Yes we have multiple injuries, but I think the C's can do this too and I'm glad we'll have the chance!

great win....ray did his thing, rondo was good, big baby was great........

on paul, i just think he's tired. from the comments i've read here, it sounded like he played badly, but i really didn't see it that way. i think these 2 days will help out paul and the rest of the team get their mindset right and try to do some damage in the windy city.
