Looks like the fakers don't play any D either (at least their second unit doesn't.)
Let's go C's!!!

My darkhorse pick to make the finals is the Nuggets. When I am not obsessing over the Celtics, the Nuggets are my favorite team to follow.
With Billups they are a different team from all those underacheiving teams that have early exits from the playoffs. This years version actually can play defense and doesn't turn the ball over like crazy.

People on this board seem to bag on Birdman and Nene, but I love how those 2 play. The Nuggets bigs can match up with anyone in the west, the only big that they may not match up with in the West is Yao and the Rockets.
In my opinion the Nuggets made the trade of the year in obtaining Billups.  The pressure on Carmelo to score 25 points a game is no longer there, and he is playing some of the best all around basketball since he has been in the league.
My hate for the Lakers may be clouding my judgement, but I think that the Nuggets can take the Lakers.

Another disappointing game for the Hornets. I don't know if its still the ankle or whatever the OKC doctors found that's hurting him but Tyson Chandler looked really bad out there tonight. Much worse than on Sunday I think.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

Utah and Lakers game is tight.  Utah up 2, but Laker get the ball with 17 seconds left...

D. Will and Boozer are monstrous, but Kobe's way off and they're still only up 2.  Hope they close this out though...

EDIT: They got it!  Nice little capper to a 5-24 night by Kobe.  Boozer with 23 and 22...

  • Basketball is like chess, only without the dice
Bad game. So little defence played and both teams scored under 90 points.

I know except for the last jumper by Deron it was just a dunk fest in the last two minutes. And what the hell was Milsap thinking. He literally threw the ball straight to Gasol for an easy dunk late in the game...
