Anyone but the Lakers.

Anyone but Cleveland, but preferably somebody other than the Lakers also.

There are no winners in a Lakers-Cavs series, only losers.

Seriously, the media coverage of a Lakers-Cavs series will be absolutely insufferable. Stuart Scott gushing about LeBron, Screaming A Smith fawning over Kobe, I'd be hard pressed to watch a single minute of it.

Tommy Point.  You hit the nail on the head.  I can't STAND all of the homoerotic manboy gushing and fawning over the two superstars.  Jeff Van Gundy needs to get himself a room with his pictures of LeBron already.  It's insufferable, just as you said.  Insufferable.

cavs.....don't want jackson pulling even with Red...don't want LA getting closer in total championships and i don't want kobe getting his...cleveland is harmless

Phil has already pulled even with Red, even more reason not to want him to win.  Theres no way I could honestly say Id rather see the Lakers win over the Cavs, I dont care if the Lebron commercials tripled for the next five years.  Kobe doesnt annoy me nearly as much as Lebron does, but theres too much on the line to pick the Lakers.  Red's Record, keeping distance between us and LA for the most titles in basketball.

Easy Choice.

I'd absolutely hate it if either team won it. And like someone before said, I'm not sure if I could even stomach watching any of it. I'm praying we get on a roll and knock them both off.

That being said, I'd actually rather the Lakers win it. As much as I hate them and Phil Jackson, the Cavs are even more obnoxious. At least Laker fans understand history and respect the Celtics. I've lived in Ohio most of my life, and can honestly say that most Cavs fans I've met have no clue about Celtic history, and therefore don't respect us nearly as much as Laker fans do. Actually, most Cavs fans don't even know CAVS history, because they just became fans when LeCrabDribble was drafted.

And as much as Kobe is babied by NBA refs, LeCrabDribble and his team are babied even more. And whatever special treatment Kobe does get, at least he "earned" it with 3 titles. LeCrabDribble just earned it in David Stern's dirty dreams.

Thank you.

Everybody in the media loves the Cavs so much because a Lakers / Cavs finals with LeBron beating Kobe would be a ratings wet dream for network executives.  It's sickeningly obvious.

Idk I really can't stand LeBron he's cheesy and I can't stand anything about him. His 1 dimensional steroid game, his falling on the ground for 10 minutes if he gets poked in the eye, his sickening star treatment, his shower power buddies Mo williams and Mike Brown, the fact that no1 even KNEW who the Cavs WERE before 2003...the list goes on. It's a bandwagon city with trash that look good when they score since LeRoid is always triple teamed and passes out to them.

Slightly off topic, but SI.com's "experts" gave their predictions for the NBA Finals.  No shock here:

Quote
Who will win the NBA Finals?

Ian Thomsen: Lakers over Cavs. . . .

Jack McCallum: Lakers over Cavs. . . .

Chris Mannix: Lakers over Cavs. . . .

Steve Aschburner: Lakers over Cavs.  . . .

Scott Howard-Cooper: Lakers over Cavs. . . .

Link.

I can't say that I disagree with their predictions.  It's nice to see some analysts being honest about the relative strength of the Cavs.  Going by some people's word you'd think the Cavs were the greatest team to ever step foot on a basketball court.  In truth, they're all LeBrawn, and not so much LeBrain, LeExperience, or LeDepth (sorry, terrible pun I know).  The Lakers will beat Cleveland if that is indeed the matchup.
