Who would you rather win the NBA Finals?

Which team would you rather win the Finals? Lakers or Cavs?

I'm not saying that we don't have a chance, because I still think that we have a very good one, but the media is seeming to count us out. ESPN pretty much assured a Lakers v Cavs Finals this morning because of the news about KG.

If this series does occur, I think I would actually rather see the Lakers win. I would've never thought that it would be possible for me to say this, but I think my hatred of the Cavs and LeBron is just beginning to catch up with the Lakers, and maybe even surpassing them.

I'd hate for either of them to win (If anywone had to win it besides the Celtics, I would root for Portland)... But if I had to pick, I'd go with the team that hasn't been our arch rivals for half a century. Here is some more reasoning on my part...

1- LeCrab is going to win one sooner or later, so it might as well be the year we dont.

2- They could represent the "JV" Eastern Conference in winning it all

3- We have the most championships in NBA history at 17. The Lakers are second with 14. How many do the Cavs have? Another championship for the Fakers would mean our lead shrinks to 2 again.

Seriously, the media coverage of a Lakers-Cavs series will be absolutely insufferable. Stuart Scott gushing about LeBron, Screaming A Smith fawning over Kobe, I'd be hard pressed to watch a single minute of it.

Ill be rooting for an earthquake, alien invasion(win/win becuase who needs la and cleveland), or california to finaly sink into the pacific on game three @ 8.

Ive wrestled with this, I hate both of them. From Kobe and Lebrons smugness to that weasel Sasha and Side show. It going to be as bad as a vikins bears game.  Rooting for one is like choosing the shot over the electric chair.  Just hope we dont have to make this choice.

In '88 and '89 I had to root for the Pistons.  I didn't like it but there was no alternative.  I could never root for the Lakers.
