There is just something in my heart that believes the Celts are going to rally around The Captain, The Truth, P2, PAUL PIERCE! I really do I cant help but have that feeling! Losing KG really blows but I do think the C's will surprise a lot of people.

It's still going to be extremely hard to get to the Finals this year...unless the young guys step up IMMENSELY which they can probably do but I just don't see it.

I have the same feeling. I keep thinking we'll sweep the bullz, beat Orlando in 6 games, and win in Cleveland in game 7 in an epic battle. But get so worn out against the lakers and lose in 5 games.

Call me crazy, but we might see an epic game7 where Pierce carry us to the finals, but have nothing left in the finals. Just need Stern to stay out of it

As bummed as I am right now when I heard about the news on KG, I'm still keeping the Celtic die-hard in me alive in joining you guys on still keeping the faith. Paul Pierce is the man for the C's. Time for him to put on his cape and take us as far as we could go.

Besides, IMO, we've gone a long way playing without KG and have shown that we could hang with the other big boys of the league given our current lineup. I think it's also time for Rondo to take KG's spot (at least for this playoff run) in the Big 3. Let's go Celtics! Make us proud.

If I learned anything about this team this year it's that they have a lot of heart, and you can't count them out of anything.  So many times I've given up on them when they were down in the fourth only to have PP or Ray's heroics (or even Eddie or Rondo) bring them back again.  I don't want to be too optimistic, but I won't count this team out until they're actually out.

Well, if Pierce really does think he's as good as Lebron and Kobe, now is the time to show it.  If he gets hot, he's absolutely capable of carrying the team.
