Just to stuff it in the Lakers and Cavs face.

This team is good enough.  With Pierce playing the best ball of his career and Baby putting up 20/10 in Kevin's place, we still have a fighter's chance.

Don't stop believing, Boston.

If this happens it would be the single greatest NBA feat ever right?

(Not?) To be the pessimist, but no matter what numbers people are putting up in KG's place, the other teams are putting up better numbers AGAINST us.

Honestly... it's a bummer that we'll likely be beat by Chicago or Orlando with KG out, but... meh... no big deal.

I kinda looked at this entire season like playing with house money.

Last year was an unfathomably inexplicably awesome season.  Any long-term Celtic fan who followed this team religiously was pretty much emotionally dead after the team got the #5 pick in the lotto.   To somehow turn that into a championship season was just unthinkable and ridiculous.   A 62 win season and a 1st round exit is just a cherry on top.

It's Bron and Kobe's season.   Ours was last year.  I've already made peace with that.

DWADE goes and proves he's the MVP by single handedly beating the Cavs in the second round... sorry, dreaming too big again.

Lets hope the Pistons say, "never underestimate the heart of a champion" and knock off the Cavs in shocking fashion.

"What did the guy from South Africa say about adversity??
All right. He says, nothing can get you down!
OK... this is what we're talking about. Adversity... You overcome it.
We're the better team... we overcome it, all right?
Nothing stops us... that's why we play 12 guys.
Now lets beat this team!!"

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
the thread title made me think of that scene in Major League where they figure out that none of them are coming back.

like that is always lethal." - Evan 'The God' Turner

Thanks and back at ya!  Love your work on the front page, btw.

I really do believe, because of the way Paul is playing right now, that any game we play is winnable if we can keep it close into the 4th.  All we need to do is rebound, play D, hustle and scrap to keep it close, and the Captain will take over.

UBUNTU

u know what im drinking the koolAid, 18 in 09!
"Sam Cassell was heckling on the sideline when I walked down, He looked at me and was like, ‘You're getting the ball, I know you're getting the ball!'
said Allen.

And did Cassell, a man of many words, have anything to say after that?

"No, I told him he needed to wear a tie."
