I think it'll be a team effort by our bigs. Not expecting much from Mikki over the 6 quick fouls but Perk/Leon/Baby together can step up - protect the paint, rebound, block shots and help out on the offensive end. Knowing KG is going to be out I think they'll be up to the challenge

Davis. I don't think Perkins is capable of filling KG's offensive shoes, but Baby has shown he's able in flashes.

Not to KG's level for Perk, but he has really improved his repertoire of low post moves quite a bit.  I'm really impressed with how much Perk continues to improve every year.
Yup

Powe becomes the most important bigman on this team.  He will be starting for Kevin Garnett, and will play 38 min. per game unless he gets in foul trouble.  He will be key in our offense.  We will get it to him in the post and the other team will have to double and that should leave someone else open.  If they don't double, Powe will either score or get fouled.  Powe's ability to get opposing PFs in foul trouble gives our team a big advantage.  It also slows the game a bit allowing Ray and Paul to play more minutes.  Powe and Perk is our best defensive big man duo we have besides KG and Perk.  Powe's ability to take charges and be in the right spots is huge for our defense with KG out.  Powe is the best defense and offense we can get out of our PF spot without KG.  With KG out, Powe becomes our most important bigman.

No, KP is the most important.  And he has to stay out of foul trouble.

I'm really worried about Perkins getting into foul trouble, but he is now huge for our defense.

Easy, Perk the beast. He'll be the new anchor for our defense. Powe/Big Baby will have to step up on their D to help ease the load on Perk. As for Mikki Moore, well I'm hoping he uses his 6 fouls wisely and makes it last for more than 10 mins so that Perk could take in more than a breather ;D

Celtics win because of defense.  Perk is the key remaining defensive big man.

Perk.
I am not too concerned about the technicals/ fouls.  Refs typically let the players play more.
Celtics fan for life.

Can see Powe and BBD do'in their thing; but will need to have size on the floor, so yes would have to go with Perk and/or Moore.

Perk, he's the starting Center and the leader of our defense. theres an interview about how he studies the whole team's defense and knows where every player is supposed to be in every situation. Wherever this team goes is decided by our defense and our defense is lead by Kendrick Perkins.

I think it's Perk.  His timing on blocks has been vastly improved over the second half of this season and he is developing a semblance of a low post game on offense --I think Doc will attempt to go to Perk to see if he can establish himself early in games.  The big loss of KG on offense his the impact he has on spacing and the attention he draws.  I think a combo of Perk hitting a few low post iso's and BBD hitting a couple of early 15 footers will help mitigate the loss of KG on offense and open things up for the 'little 3'.

The real 'big' they need is luck and avoiding foul trouble.  I am a fan of starting BBD at the 4 (his jumper is the difference for me -- he'll need to be guarded on the key -- middle opens for drives and space created). BUT, the danger is early foul trouble -- they have got to avoid the early fouls.

My hope is that they can put 4 games out of 7 together in each series in which they can fire on all cylinders.  KGs consistency/intensity will be missed -- without him, we can't expect this team to be always in a position to win (they'll be less consistent as a team). Shots won't fall in some games -- and when we get to Orlando and Cleveland, we won't have much room for error.  The 4 out 7 games that we'll have a chance to win must be taken advantage of and there will need to be some good fortune (luck) on our side if we are to get past Orlando or Cleveland, IMO.

Perk is the most important big man but I think its most important for either Leon or Big Baby to step it up and play like a legit starter on both ends
